Hey Gil-kun, I need your help on something. D: I remember you telling me that you have anime torrents download automatically, and I was wondering how you do that. I went into utorrent and set up some feeds, one of which is Nyaatorrents...but I can't get the filter to specify certain series that I want..instead it tries to DL everything that pops up. >.<
First of all, I'm sorry that I'm replying this late. But i have been busy with school and alot of other real life things.
But now I'm done (at least until I start with my new school in august (if i get in that is)).

Indeed it is, more and more works requires that you have read English so it's really good. ^^
I prefer to speak/write in Swedish over English and that's only because I know more words in Swedish than in English... XD (even if i know most words in English, but my grammar is way better in Swedish :) )
However, i rather have English voices on movies, games etc.. Swedish text/Voice in games and movies just sounds really, really wrong. >.<

Sweden have allot of interesting stories, some of the most interesting is those around WW2 (Sweden had bigger parts in it than most people know), Viking age and when Sweden was one of the biggest (if not the biggest (at that time)) nations in the world.
Oh and Norway has been part of Sweden long time ago.
Btw on an side note about interesting stories. one of my biggest interest is WW2 and it's amazing how much that isn't taken up in the "normal" history books.
I hardly believe the king forced the entire nation to join the Christianity but allot of them. I don't know how he made them join, however when the king speaks people will listen, and that's even in modern day. Sweden still have a king but he doesn't "have" any "power" anymore (he has no position anywhere so to speak) so he can't really decide anything. But if the king speaks people will listen. An example of that is last year ( i think it was last year, could be 2 years ago) there were a big debate if we should be able to hunt sick wolfs, most people were against it but then the king spoke and the next day it was wolf hunt.
The only crime our king can get punished by law is mass murder.
He got immunity against everything else.
There was probably many that wanted to join Christianity too. As Norse paganism has it flaws. an example is that it has human sacrifices.
But I have too say that I'm happy that Sweden joined Christianity as it gave us allot of good things (That might sounds strange come from an atheist.. <.<)
But for an example Christians gave us alphabet and made us more civil sated so if it wasn't for them we'd have rune script and that would be kind of awkward i believe. XD

But I don't understand why people would be offended by an religious text on the back of a coin. Sounds kind weird too me... As if it has been there for a long time I think it's part of the country.
As far as I know, no. But I haven't read too much about it so I don't really know the statistic. So far none that I know of have changed belief (other than me). The atheist that I know IRL have so far become more anti-religious.
I don't really know how Christianity have been used in politics, i have heard both good and bad things but I can't really debate about it without reach abit more about it to make sure. (as i only want to bring up fact that I'm at least 90% sure about)
But it's as you say, it has been used for good thinks and in my personal opinion i think Christianity was "invented" long time ago to bring people together. (kinda)
Btw, I have started watching LoTH now (just finished the first movie, going to watch the 2nd one soon and after that I'll start with the TV show)

I finished watching it and I love the last ep. It was cute when Kazehaya said being a girlfriend isn’t a job. But I liked the first season compared to the second. With the first season, I couldn’t stop watching and every episode was an emotional rollercoaster. However in the second season, because I was already up to date with the manga and the slow pace it was going at, it just aggravated me when Kazehaya and Sawako didn’t get together. Overall, it was still an excellent show. I have no idea what to watch now. T_T

Ow Hajime No Ippo, nice :D. I noticed that anime had a high average score, but when I read the synopsis I wasn't really convinced. But if you say it's mind blowing, i'll give it a try. The only bad thing is the length; 70+ eps, damn :D.
I just watched Tengen Toppa GL: Parallel Works 1 and 2. Parallel Works 1 is pretty good in my opinion, it contains eight 3 - 5 min episodes about random stuff of the series (funny side story, or some new battle animations or new mecha's etc). But it's not mind blowing or "very special". Parallel Works 2 is not that good, only gave it a 7 because certain animations were pretty bad.
Yes, higurashi is prety gory from time to time :D. Ye the story is good aswell, a lot of mystery. I gave the first season a 9/10.
The only problem in my opinion is that the viewer gets answer on the mysteries pretty slowly. So you basicly have to watch a lot (too much in my opinion) of episodes to understand what's going on.
And all in all I didn't think the first season was of the same level as a 10/10 anime like tengen toppa or code geass or something. But the second season has a higher average score, so maybe that one will get a 10/10 from me, we'll see... :D I only watched 5 episodes so far.
(PS: The story (season 1 and 2) is divided into arcs, like Darker Than Black, but with longer arcs (3-5 eps per arc))
Yes One Outs is indeed very interesting, it does indeed want to make me want to watch baseball :D. It's the first sport anime I saw and it's very interesting.

I also saw "Sora no Otoshimono", I gave it a 8/10. It was better than i expected. Decent comedy with a decent story. Sometimes it was a cliché, but all in all, i enjoyed watching it. I also downloaded the second season already, but i'm going to finish one outs first.
And I should also continue watching Planetes, sigh ... :D. Too much to do and too little time. :( :D

I saw Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. At first I didn't really understand what was going on, but as the story progressed it all became clear. It's a good serie, not perfect though, but it provides a good mix of comedy and horror. Atm I'm watching the second season.
I'm also watching "One Outs", a baseball anime. the main character is someone like lelouch or Kira or L from death note. A rather cold person but a great tactician. So far (6 episodes) it's a good serie, a lot of tension and luckely it's not that hard to understand if you don't know anything about baseball (like me) ;D. Only had to look up 1 word on wikipedia so far, so it's fine ;d.
It's very helpfull. long ago (i don't know how long ago it was) you weren't required to read english, but as the world go more and more connected and more work requires that you speak english (i need to speak english some times on my work) they ended up "forcing" people too learn it. And i think thats good.
I don't remember much of my spanish lessions as i wasn't that intrested in it (i can still speak a little but not nearly as good as im with english/swedish), well i was intrested in it at a start but then they changed the teacher, and so far she has been the worst teacher i have had. She didn't speak much swedish or english (she was good at spanish doe) but how is that supposed to help if you don't understand it at a start? T.T

I don't really understand what you mean with that he is a "biologist". Do you mean he belieave in the darwings theory? if so then i don't really understand what that has with this too do (as i belieave in it too, and i don't really have anything agains religion).
Sweden joined Christianity around 1100. If you look at our flag (if you don't know how it looks like, google it). It's blue and yellow, the blue part represents the heaven and the yellow part is a Christian cross (it's the cross that jessus was killed on).
So even our flag is chrisitan. :)
But even as an atheist i don't have anything agains it but still love my flag.
Most older people (if not almost everyone) is Christian. Many middle age people (30+) is Christian, however, many 18 and belove is not Christian (around 50%).
We are learned both biology and religion in school and most younger people tend to too think religion is boring = more people leave it.
Also the christians in USA hate us (the swedish christians), and when i say they hate us i mean they hate us. And sweden was "banned" or what is was (don't remember from what, it was on the news long ago) becuse our head priest accept homosexual people.
Im still a "member" of the church, but im mostly it becuse it's more or less "blackmailing" by there side.
(With blackmailing i mean that if your not in the church then you need to pay to get burryed, and if they don't burry you, you need to pay some one else too do it, and thats expensive) so your more or less needed to be with the church too not leave a heavy bill to your remaining family after you die for your burrial. (However, i don't know if they have changed this as i havn't looked into it for very long but it's still not really "worth" to leave the church)
I can agree that many atheist on the web is flaming but after being on the web and different forums (including this one) i have seen that there is almost as many Christians as atheist that starts flame wars.
