First of all, shoujo and romance are my favourite genres. Usually it's about a girl who falls in love with her prince and we get to know their story - how they get along/how their relationship works. When I started to watch Itazura na Kiss, I wouldn't imagine that it will be so entertaining and amazing!
The story is told from Kotoko's view. We can hear her thoughts and opinions. We get to know her life, her goals and dreams, her feelings. The story is well-told, it has a decent ending, but for me it would be more fun if I could hear Naoki's thoughts sometimes.
