Naturally I generalized a bit since I could only read the notes on your anime list. And I might have been unnecessarily aggressive considering nobody forced me to look at it in the first place, sorry.
On a more positive note, I really respect it how you can formulate such detailed thoughts about everything you watch. I was kinda surprised that you wouldn't just post reviews if you're already going to write that much.
Colorful and strong shadows makes me think of Utena, which I'm watching (and loving) right now. Of course you already finished that one.
I don't hate Your Name or anything, it's certainly nice to look at. Extreme popularity, however, always makes me like a thing less. Might be a character flaw...

By far your worst takes are whenever you talk about artstyle. This is how it comes across: You hate it whenever anime does something interesting and deviates from conventionally attractive designs (Masaaki Yuasa), you pretty much can't stand anything from before 2000 because it looks "dated" and you believe generic prettiness trying to appeal to as many people as possible like Your Name is the pinnacle of what can be achieved visually. It's an opinion of course but I cannot relate one bit.
