when i first watched this anime, from the beginning i thought the story was good and it could evolve into something awesome. i was right, it could, but it didn't. they had all the potential but the main character fell on the cliche. if this anime had more and proper fighting scenes instead of semi yaoi, unnecessary drama and childish rage attacks it could've been so much better. the story and the characters were there to enjoy, but bad direction ruined everything. and i haven't even read the manga or light novel or whatever the source material is, so i think the fans were pissed ... off with this mediocre adaptation.
