Well if we include shows like Pokemon and Digimon then it would be that but I don't really count them so ig my first would be Death Note. My brother made me watch it and I loved it and then he showed me MHA and then I started watching anime a lot after that.

i think mal is really easy to use for keeping track of anime, i'm just lazy so i haven't then i forget. in terms of chatting with people and stuff i think it's really hard because there's no instant messaging and the ui is really old x)
