I don't think it's and exaggeration saying this is one of the best music anime out there. Looking only at the music this is for sure on the same level if not better than something like BTR. Storywise, they have very different tones, while BTR is more of a comedy/slice of life. GBC takes on a more serious approach, diving into the indie bands/artists and its intricacies. It's not easy to make it big. as well as pursuing a dream you don't even know will work out.
I will first address the elephant in the room. Many will get discouraged seeing it's a full 3D animated
...
anime. But surprisingly enough, it doesn't affect the experience in any way, it might even enhance it. Since it would be a little weird seeing a whole 2D anime. just for the concerts/performances to be junky 3D animated. It is very smooth and it does a really good job specially with characters expressions, we've come a long way since Berserk 2016. The lighting is amazing and the concerts are so smooth that it looks like rotoscoped animation. If you really have a problem with it, it probably won't take more than one episode to get used to it.
The characters are all amazing, they are very realistic and none of them look out of place or are forcefully quirky just to stand out. They all make sense as characters, they are very mature due to their circumstances. Which brings me to the main point most people hate on; the main character Nina. She can be a bit annoying and over the top, but imo it's far from being a bad written character, or making the show worse because of her. People have different personalities, and considering her upbringing; a very strict household, getting bullied and portrayed as the wrong, it does not surprise me her being over the top. She has friends that accept her the way she is, so it's very obvious she'll just be herself, after finally having some sort of freedom, leaving her school and hometown behind. That's why she went to Tokyo anyway, to not be chained and do whatever the hell she wants, and she clearly grows as a character. I prefer this 100% over some plain, uninteresting character that has no development whatsoever.
The drama felt incredibly natural, I didn't think at all that they were forcefully pushing drama just to make it interesting. They seemed very real problems that any of us could have. Every character with their backstory and dealing with their own life coming together, and one by one resolving their problems with the help of each other. It seemed very realistic to me, making it even relatable sometimes.
While the anime is pretty damn good, it doesn't close off the story in these 13 episodes, so we'll hopefully get a second season as the first one just seemed like a prologue, setting it up for a second one focusing on them growing their audience and stuff.
Finally, the music. They are just bangers. Not much to say about it. The last concert hyped me up as much as Bocchi doing her solo.
Overall I would say this is a must watch. If you liked shows like Bocchi or Further than the universe, it's definitely worth a try.
9/10 will flip 'em off

Dungeon Meshi, Oh Dungeon Meshi.
When this was still releasing, I never thought to pick it up to watch it, thinking it was just some random cooking anime with the gimmick of using monsters to cook. But let me tell you, this show cooked way more than just monster meat.
I've always loved open-world games, exploring an unknown world, feeling like an actual adventurer, that's what brought me to games like Breath of the Wild, Elden Ring and even Genshin. So as an anime fan, I always yearned for something similar, but could never find it. Until deciding to give Dungeon Meshi a shot, and I'm glad
...
I did.
Dungeon Meshi is no doubt one of the best fantasy anime I've ever come across. it has such a rich world, that you can't help but think you're a part of it, with a coherent dungeon system, and incredible detail and thought into the monsters, everything just makes sense.
The characters makes it even more special. This is the type of anime that, just like KonoSuba, has such a captivating main cast, that you could put them in any situation and it would be funny.
And as always, studio Trigger making an awesome job with the animation and directing.
If you like animes like Frieren, Made in Abyss (the exploration part), first season of Mushoku. You will definitely enjoy this one.
9/10 would eat dragon meat

I haven't written many reviews so it might be all over the place, but bear with me.
I first got into Hibike Euphonium because I quite enjoy music anime, so when I realized that this season quite literally skipped every single performance (except for the last one) you can guess that I was pretty upset. But you would think that they used the time saved from skipping to better develop the characters and story, but that wasn't what happend.
In my opinion this was a very lackluster ending for an amazing show. Almost the whole season revolved around the inner conflicts of the club, giving almost
...
no space for character development, and the characters that did get development, were introduced in this season itself, like Motomu and Mayu, I'm not against introducing new characters into the anime, but doing so in the last season just to rob the attention the main cast should be getting is not it.
And if you want an example, I will gladly talk about Reina, wich is one of, if not THE worst character in the entire show. She's just spoiled, selfish and apathetic. But you would expect some character development, but as I've stated before, the attention was diverted elsewhere, I really doubt Reina changed even one bit, Oumae constantly has to walk on eggshells around her because she might get angry if anyone has an opinion different than hers, but I digress.
i do think the club conflict thing was interesting at first, because it makes sense, especially in Japan where they take the hierarchy thing very seriously. But it drags on for way too long, and one thing I didn't understand was, I get why the second years might be mad, because their seniors are getting swapped out for a girl that just transferred in, but why the hell are the first years mad? For them, the third years are all strangers right? Of course I might be wrong but oh well.
Introducing Mayu was a very lacking way of advancing Oumae's character, I'm sure there were better ways to do so without annoying the shit out of the viewers with the constant "are you sure you don't want me to forfeit?" "i gUeSs i'M foRfeItinG" "YOU KNOW WHAT, I WILL FORFEIT", after the 12th time she said that I was already losing my mind.
Well, with all that being said, I still don't hate the show, I do think the pacing was a bit off, with uninteresting plot, but the ending itself wasn't all bad, if I didn't care for these characters I'm sure i would have hated this season, but it was nice seeing them getting what they wanted after all these years.
Can't say much about the visuals, it's KyoAni, of course it's going to be the most stunning slice of life anime you'll ever see in your life
Overall, I give this a "Mixed Feelings" because I do recommend you to watch, since it's the finale so you will have a closure, but I can't guarantee it will be a satisfying one.

After watching the first episode, and not even being able to finish it, I was certain that I would not be watching this. However, a few days later, a friend told me to give it another chance, and so I did.
One problem, if not the ONLY problem I had with this anime at first, was unquestionably the main character. He comes across as this creepy stalker that follows this girl and eavesdrop her conversations whenever he has the chance, more on that later. He's also this super edge lord that likes murders and wish to kill his classmate, the same girl he follows around. She
...
is this very beautiful girl named Anna Yamada, an model and actress.
The main character is definitely the main reason people stop watching this show, he does seem very creepy and edgy when you first watch it, but then if you actually stop and think about it, he is just a 13 year old kid. Do you remember what you were like when you were 13? Because I do. I used to LOVE Kirito and think I was just like him.
In five years i'm sure the main character will look back, and get phisically hurt when remembering these behaviors, like we all do.
Maybe this isn't enough of a justification for you. In that case, I would still recommend watching it past episode one.
There's definitely character development and as they get closer, he starts to see things differently.

After watching the teaser when it came out, I really liked the premise, so I went straight to the manga. I ended up binge reading it in three days or so, and I found it quite enjoyable, fast forward to the actual anime, the first few episodes were pretty fun, but as the show continues, I found myself watching it in 2x speed
One of the biggest differences of manga to anime, is that manga you can read in your own pace. If you want you can take your time and appreciate the art, or you could just skim through.
I only realised wich one I did
...
on this manga after watching the anime. It feels so damn slow that for the first time EVER, I decided to watch it in 2x (maybe already knowing the story contributed to this).
Also in my opinion, this story in anime form accentuates the annoying parts of some characters. (i'm talking about you, Runa).
All in all, this is the usual slow paced shoujo anime, with superficial characters, and the usual misunderstadings.
If you overlook that, you get an OK story about romance, online games and its intricacies.

I just stumbled upon this and decided to watch it, didn't even know there was an OVA coming, and i'm very disappointed. The ending of s3 was so good, so I thought this might've been some epilogue showing some Yukino and Hachiman scenes, but it turned out to be some kinda of pseudo-harem? Even though in S3 was crystal clear that Hachiman chose Yukino, this OVA made it seem that Yui didn't give up yet and will try to steal Hachiman for Yukino.
In conclusion, I really don't see the point of this OVA, and i'll just try to forget about it. Season 3 was the

canon ending and this was just a fever dream

This is a spin-off from the manga Henjo
If you are looking for a wholesome, spicy slice-of-life romcom, you came to the right place. There isn't much to say about this besides the fact that it's the best RomCom i've ever read/watched. None of that love triangle BS or teasing, NTR, nothing. It's just the daily life of a beautiful, but insecure 27-years old woman, and a cute but confident highschool boy. This does have some ecchi in it, but nothing explicit. After reading this, you will end up with a big smile in your face, and your faith in humanity will be restored.
Story - 9;

There isn't much to say about the story, it's just cute innit.
Art - 10; It's beautiful, i could fall in love with Eroko-san at any day.
Character - 10; Eroko-san is a Goddess, Hoshi is a gigachad that isn't afraid to say what he thinks
Enjoyment - 10; As i said, my faith in humanity was restored after reading this, i even had to have a break in the middle of a chapter, because my heart couldn't take such cute and wholesome stuff
Overall - 10; What more can i say if not READ THIS RIGHT NOW

This is my first review so please be gentle~
This Webtoon starts off really well, i remember i binged more than 100 chapters in one day, the art was really great and quite interesting characters. But, after more than 350 chapters in, it went downhill. The developmet of the characters and story is painfully slow, they have been in the same tournament all throughout the manhwa, Jay starts off being the cool quiet kid, but after that, he just becomes a spectator, no emotions, he beraly even speaks, you never know what he's thinking, there's just shots of him looking at something, without saying anything and
...
that's it, I think overall it's an enjoyable read if you don't mind reading equivalent of 9 years of chapters, to characters be the same at the end of it, most of the characters have their own sideplots, but never actually change anything on their personalities, so it's basically filler, only character that actually had any development was Mia. This could've went really well if they focused on what's really important, it gets to the point where the tournament is just a background thing, it's just in the sidelines while the characters have all the atention, it's basically the tournament being only 5% of the show, and the other 95% is just drama and pointless side plots, there's just so many chapters where nothing happening is actually relevant to the story, and because there's so many characters, the author tries to focus on every one of them, telling their stories and relationships, wich in my opinion is very unecessary, i was enjoying up until 300 chapters when i realised that basically nothing happend.
Story - 5
Art - 7
Character - 4
Enjoyment - 7
Overall - 7
TL;DR It's a enjoyable manga where nothing really happens in 350 chapters.
