Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled From Paradise, is Gen Urobuctcher's (sorry, couldn't resist the bad jokes) new original animated film that explores the meaning of humanity and personal reality. The movie offers a few interesting twists and introduces some extremely intriguing ideas about sci-fi and humanity itself.
This movie is about our cute female protagonist, Balzac Angela (voiced by Kugimiya Rie so end of review, 10/10 :P ) sent from Deva, a new world created based on data after a certain apocalypse in earth that turned the whole world into a never-ending desert (portrayed as the wild west), to stop a certain someone or something who was
...
recently hacking into the Deva system to convey a certain message that contradict's Deva's values. Angela, along with our male protagonist "dandyman" Zarik Kajiwara, sets on a mission that will redefine the many things that She was taught on the Deva.
Story : 7/10 As explained earlier, the story tries to explore many different themes and tries to convey them in many different ways; however, the story is not extremely smooth and well told mainly because nothing in the movie was explored well enough.
Character : 7/10 Much like the story, simply underdeveloped. There was pretty much only 3 in the movie characters and none of them were extremely well developed, but being underdeveloped does not mean they are boring characters. All of these characters have a very lovable personality and these personalities are well portrayed through their actions. Regarding the 3DCG, I actually think it contributes to the storytelling extremely well mostly due to the story partially being the exploration of the difference between a digital reality and a traditional human being.
Sound : 9/10 The Soundtracks are very well developed, playful, and fits the situation very well. The voice actor/actresses fit the roles extremely well and the ending song is also great.
PS: don't skip the ending. Enjoy the song a little and wait for a tiny cute and heartwarming treat at the end :)
Art : 9/10 The whole film is made in “3D" modeled animation. Like a refined version of (RWBY) It was well made so it was not too distracting most of the times. Some of the scenes had awesome cinematography and some other scenes are extremely well drawn. Also, the fighting scenes are extremely entertaining and contains some great CGI
Enjoyment :8/10 The way this story is told could get boring at times, but some of the really lovable characters and original ideas from the anime can really bring the audiences back. Again, great cinematography and mech fight scenes.
Overall : 8/10 Only if the story and characters were more developed. Everything else could be better, but they were already quite nice. I would definitely suggest this movie to anyone who is looking for something a bit different and doesn't hate the 3D animation.
Final words: I really like this animated film a lot, and it has a 10/10 on my personal ratings because some parts of it really does deserve that score. Sadly, there are too many things in the anime that prevents me from doing so in a formal review.

Well, Yeah! I gave it a 10/10 I wouldn't say it was completely rational for me to give it a 10, but the entertainment level , the characters and just how they put everything together is just completely amazing! Like Hisashi Sasaki , the editor in Bakuman, said "as long as the Manga is interesting, people will like it!" I think this statement is the same for anime.
Story: 8/10
Imagine this: You are nearsighted and you don't have glasses or contacts. You never knew if you are going to get one at all so you start looking at people really closely in order to see
...
their details. But one day, someone forcefully puts a pair of glasses on you and now, you not only see the people you want to see, you also remember every detail about them! This is basically how the story of this anime is set up.
The story of this anime is narrated by different characters throughout the story and most of the the first half of the anime is about introducing the main characters through some events they go though and most of these episodes are narrated by the characters themselves. To be honest, even though it took them about 12 episodes to introduce most of the important characters, it is not the most easy-to-understand character introduction and I am sure that is also what makes this anime so interesting. After the first half(not exactly first 12ep. but around there) Hell breaks loose and everything starts to come together. That is all I'm going to say because saying anything becomes a spoiler.
PS: If you like to guess what happens next you will either have no clue about what is happening at all to the extent that you cannot even make a single guess or, if they want you to know, you will get exactly everything right.
Art: 9/10
There is seriously nothing too great about the art itself, but this art style is perfect for Durarara! If someone looks weird, he is supposed to and vise versa.
The atmospheric feeling of the art is often in somebody's perspective, often expressing what the person is observing at or tries to know about.
Sound: 9.5/10
The music of the OP and ED is great and what makes it better is the opening animation! The opening also contains a review of some information that is essential to the current episode. I watched and listened to every single OP without skipping a second! It is THAT exciting ^_^
The sound tracks of Durarara! is an amazing mood creator, sometimes it is really subtle and sometimes it is really strong, but I never found it annoying.
Character 10/10
First, I would Like you to decide for yourself what makes a character interesting. Maybe it's their past experiences and the things that they've gone through. Perhaps it is their personality.
There are TONS of main characters in this anime including three high school students, an information seller, an abnormal doctor with a headless rider and a guy who is always in a bartender suit. Connect them, I dare you. One of the most amazing thing about these characters is that they are all connect in some way and through some events but they are not always connected but almost every single one of them effect each other greatly.
At this point, many would ask about the character development. Well, many of them do change and "grow up" through major events but in many cases their personality and their past itself is already interesting enough that I don't think it can get much more interesting. The most interesting characters may not always be the dynamic ones!
No matter what type of character you are looking for, Cool, Badass, Ambitious and about everything else you would think of. This series truly contains so many interesting characters that I guarantee you will at least find a few, both main and supporting, characters really interesting.
Entertainment 10/10
For me, this is definitely the most important aspect of an anime. The entertainment section is basically the byproduct of every other aspect of an anime working together and the resonance of the story, characters, sound art, of Durarara! is just so great that every moment is fun.
Generally, this is neither the anime that makes the audience laugh out loud nor cry. Instead, it is able to bring the smile out of an audience while making him constantly think.
I know many people, including me, likes to watch anime/films with a critical mind, but C'mon, I am positive that 99% of you are watching anime for entertainment, so let us try to not let that aspect carry us away. If you are seriously someone who just watches an anime to find out good and bad aspects of the anime, Durarara! will not disappoint you either. And maybe you can tell me the reasons behind Durarara! being so F**king Cool and interesting!
In general, I would recommend this anime to everyone in both sexes since it is just so unique in style. Trust me, this anime will not disappoint you and watching it will be a fantastic experience!

"This anime has a very vague plot line and it does not have interesting conflicts"
I WILL SLAP ANYONE WHO SAID ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN A HENTAI REVIEW.
Seriously, we all know what a Hentai series is for right? (Well, I have encountered a few series that have been quite entertaining even excluding the ero parts), but lets not forget the main purpose of a hentai series.
The Eroge! series is, in my opinion, is an example for an ideal hentai.
1. They get things done! They don't waste half of the time explaining the setting or something. They F**K
2. Great art. I guess this one is
...
more of a personal opinion, but the artwork is very clean and the characters don't start looking different when the angle changes.
3. It is quite comedic. There are just some funny parts and interesting parts that just makes the grin come out of your face and that's always welcome.
4. Good story ^_^ what I mean here is that they have a very simple setting, they don't try to complicate anything. Our main character help out the girls complete an adult game project by F**King them. Doesn't take long to explain this plot does it? So now, we have more time on the actual FUN^_^ part.
I would suggest this series to anyone who watches hentai, it will probably raise your benchmarks for hentai and more importantly, you will have fun. (don't know bout girls tho)
BIG 10/10 for this!

So... the chubby main character is bullied in school and was soon introduced to a new world(video game) and will aim to become the best! How exciting?
Although we could summarize this anime this way, but its like saying Code Geass is about a high school kid trying to kill his dad after he got superpowers. There's simply more to it.
The first thing about this anime that really appealed to me was the atmospheric building. Eyes were everywhere, no matter where the main character went, somebody is around him. Since Haruyuki is quite a loser himself, he really hated to be around people, although most
...
people weren't really noticing him. This could be the one of the best way to tell us that our main character is a complete loser in the real world but he is great at video games.
Rating:
My rating for this anime looks REALLY subtle, there are really no huge up and downs and it's mainly because almost every aspect of this anime has something special about it.
Story 8/10
The story of this anime is actually quite creative. Although the concept of characters being able to go into different worlds isn't something completely new, the idea of turning this amazing but over-used concept into a basic setting where everyone is capable of doing so due to technology is actually more amusing than I expected.
The main character has something and someone that he wants to protect and will probably want to become the strongest because of that which is really nothing new, but this overly simple motif actually adds a very inviting feeling to this anime.

Animetography(cinematography for anime)10/10
This is one special thing I really want to add to this review! Usually this component simply blends in with the art and sound part of an anime; however, this component of Accel World really appealed to me.
I was really worried about the third episode of this anime. Since I read the manga of Accel World, I knew that there will be really large conversations and almost no fancy special effects involved at all, but the third episode did not disappoint me at all. The first half of the third episode is basically a conversation between Haruyuki-kun and Kuroyukihime sempai. They used "direct link" to talk to each other meaning that they do not need to actually speak. This is something only anime could produce the most effectively because a 10 minute conversation will show tons of expressions and the characters and show their expressions in a better way if they did not need to open their mouths all the time. The quick cuts was also an important component that really made this part interesting. The "camera"(not that anime really have cameras) is constantly moving and only stops when an important expression is needed to be made, which mean tension also keeps building up. The shadow decreases once the two agrees on their commonality and goes on to discuss about another topic. This conversation ended up being very interesting due to the tension building and the sudden but subtle release of tension. Of course, thanks to the original creator of the light novel, the contents of this conversation was the core of keeping this part interesting.
And HAHA! now we know that Accel World is not just another fancy battle + special effect anime that people will skip the boring episodes and just watch the cool fights.
Since the main character of this anime does lots of reasoning throughout the anime, the varieties of positions that the main character is composed in also helped make the story a lot more interesting.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Art 9/10
The art in the real world(especially school) seems very bright, even to an uncomfortable extent since school is a very uncomfortable place for Haruyuki. The real world is also drawn with a really subtle feel which contrasts with the world in the Brain Burst program. The Brain Burst program consists of more shadowy places and feels very surreal since all the colors of the real world is altered and everyone in there has a specific color to them. Yet, the Haruyuki finds the accelerated world a more inviting place for him.
( I can BS about this stuff for years but the best thing about the art is still the character arts!)
The character art for this anime is very nice. Every important character in this anime is drawn in a very detailed fashion, but not detailed enough that characters start to look annoying. The illustration for the two main female characters that have appeared so far is astonishingly good. The cute illustrations of Chiyuri fits her character really well, her avatar in the school network is also very appealing. And Kuroyukihime sempai is just AMAZING! Her illustration, especially her hair and her school network avatar fits her prominent position really well. She is definitely my favorite heroine of spring 2012!
Just the illustration itself for the main character, Haruyuki, looks promisingly negative and I really hope they could make a better illustration for the main character. But let us all ask ourselves one question :"Is there a better way to illustrate someone who is only good at video games and is a complete loser in reality who also feels really bad about himself than a short and fat kid with stupid-looking eyes?" My answer is definitely NO"
Sound 9/10
OP is ok~ it feels quite unique but to me, it does not sound quite great. I loved the ED, it sounds pleasant to the ear and it fits the feeling of the anime really well.
The background noise+music for this anime is great. The background music changes many times throughout the long conversations between Haruyuki and Kurohime. The background music is definitely what makes the long conversations interesting and even, at times, make simply talking feel very cool and exciting.
The voice actors are very professional and dedicated. The voice actor for Haruyuki is Kaji Yuki, who is a great voice actor for those "I dunno what to do next but I need to protect ___" characters. (Example: Ouma, Shu from Guilty crown, Amata Sora from Aquarion Evol and Issei from High school DXD). Chuyuri's voice actress also fits her cheerful and cute tone very well. What amazes me the most is the voice actress of Kuroyukihime. This is the first anime that this voice actress got a major role in, yet, she fits the character really well and her skills are very dedicated and developed.
Character 9.5/10 (lots of this section is already explained in the art and the sound section)
The motif for the actions of the major characters in Accel World is very simple, they simply hang on to one thing and all they do is for completing that task and usually, this becomes a downside of an anime because it's overly simple. However, in this case, I think this feeling is exactly what this anime needs.
So far, the character development speed for most of the characters have been very slow since we are still being introduced to some of the important backgrounds of the characters, but the characteristics of all the major characters is already very clear.
Enjoyment 10/10
One episode of Accel World goes by extremely fast, leaving me craving for more.
In general dedicated humor + romance with beautiful heroines + Great action is just great! But more importantly, I don't think we really need a reason to enjoy an anime. Accel world is one of the most enjoyable anime I've ever watched and that is all the reason I need to give this section a big 10/10!
Overall 9/10
I really want to give this anime a 10/10 because I simply love it, but generally speaking, 9/10 is where this anime is at since there are a few things that could be done better.
I would recommend this anime mainly to battle or sci-fi lovers, especially the type that loves mental battles. But I also want to recommend Everyone to watch this amazing anime! Believe me, this anime will be enjoyable. I cannot guarantee that everyone will love this anime, but this Accel World will definitely be a waste of 25 minutes.

Most OVAs are known to have a very relaxed story and with minimal character development and lots of characters appearing....
The OVA series for Sola is nothing special; however, since this OVA is released after the TV series, the OVA does have a special affect and attraction to it. The last few episodes of the TV series had very intense conflicts and although the ending of this anime is great, it's certainly not the most pleasant ending. Considering that, the extremely relaxed OVA, especially the first episode, was great since most audiences do want to see all of the characters being normal again after the intense
...
ending of the anime series.
The first episode of the OVA happened anytime after the main character met the heroine. The 1 episode story is basically about most of the main characters going out to play. Although the story itself is nothing new, it was funny and the relief and joy of seeing all the characters acting normally is made me enjoy this episode a lot.
(First ep. rating : 9/10)
The second episode is a story that happened before the main story. This episode does feel a bit dull and was not as funny as the first episode, but it was fairly enjoyable and the ending of the episode had a great mood to it.
(Second ep. rating : 7/10)

First of all, lets make things clear. THERE ARE SEX SCENES WITHIN THIS SERIES!! and this component usually makes people want to simply watch this series as a hentai. If you are planning on doing so, you will be trading a GREAT anime with a HORRIBLE hentai because those scenes are short and not very exciting. Instead, the sex scenes create an unique mood for the story development.
Story 9/10 Yosuga no sora was originally a PC visual novel, this means that the story cannot possibly lack content. The story is very unique, instead of having a million girls liking the main character at the same
...
time, the story focuses on one heroine for a few episodes then goes back to a "save point" and starts a new story with the next one.
I have to split the art part into two.
General art (how the characters look) 8/10
Mood art (what makes the current situation or story more interesting)10/10 The art of this anime is capable of completely expressing the character's feelings. The artist is not simply making the characters blush and changing the eyes and eyebrows to express a character's emotions. Instead, the artist uses the body language of the characters. ( the way a character is standing, sitting, lying down, getting f**ked)
Sound 9/10 The voice acting for most characters is very satisfying.
The background music and sounds were generally good. ( with a few scenes that have great background music and sounds) The opening is one of my favorite anime openings. The op song beautifully expresses the general feeling of this anime.
Character 10/10 In general (because I might flood the review with my own opinions and lower the quality since i have too much to say)The character portrayal is great, partially thanks to the art; each character has a very unique and attractive personality which also makes the individuality of the characters extremely strong.
Enjoyment 9/10 The only thing holding me back from giving this series a 10/10 for enjoyment is the intense conflicts made one episode seem very long and made me want to take a break. Which is also the reason this anime is enjoyable.
Overall 9/10
I would suggest this series to everyone, especially people who likes interesting conflicts and romance.
PS: The visual novel is still much better so why not give the VN a chance while you're at it. Both the art and music are amazing and the stories are more developed in the VN :D
