Black Lagoon is not a narrative in the classical sense of the word. It's main selling points is the stylistic choices of both the dialogue, action, character designs, and characters themselves. The plot changes on an episode by episode basis leaving the stunning panache and swagger of the show to be the only trace of genuine consistency you find while progressing.

It is very amazing and certainly influential in its style (especially in the english dub). and I would recommend it nonchalantly only to more experienced anime viewers who can appreciate artistic qualities in a show without being bothered by the lack of story.

Despite how iconic this show is compared to other animes its surrounded by, I feel like this show is extremely underrated if not unreasonably passed over by anime fans because of the outdated art style.

The show follows a care-free gunslinger who, for some mysterious reason, is constantly being chased around under the premise of the bounty on his head; despite the fact that he is a pacifist and wouldn't dare hurt a fly!

You are grabbed from the first episode and are never let go as the mystery behind this world and this character get more fleshed out with each episode.

Please watch this ASAP. I give ... it a definite green light!

Claymore is a kind of an enigma for writing a review. For many people I discovered it was mostly hit or miss. For me this show was a hit but the flaws are completely understandable.

The premise of the show centering on a woman named clair who is a claymore; a being that is half monster half human. She works for an organization bent on ridding the world of monsters for a price.

I think the show had a few noticeable flaws like the main protagonist being Raki, a stray that Clair picked up on her travels, lacking development in his character. Additionally, all the ... claymores that we are introduced too have a lack of distinction between them since the colors used in this show are few and the animators for whatever reason decided to make them all have grey-ish blond hair coupled with their already cold personalities.

However, the show was extremely root-able and the backstories for all the characters were quite memorable to say the least. I was crying I was cheering and the ending (though leaving questions afterwards) made me feel mostly satisfied.

This is definitely entertaining if you can get past the fact that some claymores look a little robotic at some points. I give it the green light!

This show is just about as great as everyone says it is.

It has a similar beginning premise as Naruto where we have a dim-witted kid with a dream off to earn some sort of title and partakes in a combat-intensive exam in the process.

The story then evolves following Gon and Killua into an epic, yet very shounen, quest to gain strength in order for Gon to reach his goal of finding his father. The Journey however is quite clearly is the focus of the show as the plot itself isn't very "deep".

It has easily one of the most cheer-able casts of characters in ... all of anime history, I only wish that they elaborated on them more towards the end or at least gave them more organic ending sequences. Additionally the pace of the story really drags its feet during a certain arc, I wont name any names but I'll just say that it gets bogged down by excessive and unnecessary narration throughout.

Overall, this show is a definite crowd-pleaser balanced by the heartwarming simplicity of its characters. I give it the green light!

DNA^2 as a comedy has aged marvelously. I think this is a show that gets more hilarious with age. But if you decide to take it too seriously I don't think you will get as much out of the show as you could.

Story: Hilarious Premise but gimme moreee

The premise of this show is great. A lady from the future visits our MC in order to prevent the disaster in her timeline where a man with tremendous charisma is so charming that he impregnates countless women and causes a crisis. I love it. The story seemed a bit rushed especially since the show claims to be ... a harem. With a harem there should be proper attention given to all the chars in the love-triangle/love-decahedron. Especially the ending seemed extremely disorganized and abrupt as if the studio was on a schedule. Unfortunate.

Art: Ehhh

This the one area where time has not been gracious to the show. Art is a bit dated in the grand scheme of things though amongst the shows of it's era the art style is average. Because the action-packed scenes are fairly limited the animation is bearable.

Sound: Noice

The music delightfully upbeat and despite it being slightly cheesy does accurately color the hilarious character personalities. Especially the OP. Although you may not remember a great deal about this show after watching the music in the Opening is truly top tier. To the point of providing motivation to keep watching lol.

Character: Funny but kind of in an ironic way.

Because of the way the Characters interact with the silly premise allows for lots of laughs but also because of how ridiculous some of the situations were, there will be laughs from an ironic standpoint. Overall they enrich the world and setting in a great way.

Overall Enjoyment: Definitely worth a watch, if only to add it to your library.

This show is very amusing but the plot is a little out of the ordinary and it is not a legendary anime nor an epic anime by any means. Hell I'm not quite sure if there's much of a takeaway lesson at the end, but I was entertained all the way through. The only thing that will ruin the show is having high expectations so lower your standards rofl. Can be painfully slow to watch depending on the person.
