Mixed Feelings
After watching first 20 to 25 episodes, you may think that this anime is good. That it has certain pattern which is very basic and done so many times but nevertheless the delevopment in the story is rapid.
However, do not raise your expectations. This anime is very very average.
I observed following signs of medeocrity and/or bad quality:

* Characters are dense in terms of romance
* Very average action although very loud.
* Miserable attempt to serve exposition as dialogue
* Kiss in the last episode
* In a single episode, characters are interrupted twice when confessing (or equivalent) in a HANABI like style
* There is cringey SAO like papa-mama ...

Disclaimer: I haven't seen/read any OVAs/specials/sequels/prequels/manga/novel related to this movie. Hence I have judged the movie on its own merit.

The most overwhelming feeling throughout the movie was of confusion. I watched it on a streaming site so I had the priviledge of going back 5 seconds everytime I did not get something. But what I felt overall was that this movie is not suitable to be seen in cinema.

However, there is no (very little) pretense in this movie. It is heart throbbing at moments and cheerful at others with no sudden transitions. The way the movie flows is exceptional. No scene felt forced to me unlike Tenki no Ko.

Art and design is the best there is. Attention ...

Tenki no Ko (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
This Movie is not interesting at all.

I am a romance lover and have pretty much seen all archetypes, tropes and cliches that it has to offer and Tenki no ko made no addition to them. However I did not dislike it because of that.

As any normal person could, I predicted the whole plot of the movie after about 50 min. So naturally I had imagined some scenes that would take place in the movie. And as I expected the same scenes took place (more or less) but I thought that the actual scenee was way worse than what I had thought of. It is kind ...
