Hey man i highly recommend you to download the Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack and have a listen. It will blow your mind. Also most of their episodes are references to classic songs like Bohemian Rhaphsody and My Funny Valentine..
Also for voice acting i recommend English Dub as it is Way better than the sub (I recall the director himself prefers dub over sub).
Also re-watch Cowboy Bebop, Its much better the second time!
