Cowboy Bebop is the like the Firefly of anime.
Although an older animation it still is consistently counted as one of the best anime's of all time and rightly so. A great story with some amazing characters make this a highly enjoyable anime.
The story is fantastic with a combination of mystery and action, however the pacing is odd at times and it feels like you are just watching filler episodes which at times can make it boring, but the baseline story remains strong and finishes it off well.
The art although old fits well with the world that it is set in, everything looks dirty

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (FMA:B) is a masterpiece, consistently voted as one of the best anime series and also as one of the best tv series of all time this amazing show definitely deserves those titles.
The story line of FMA:B is complex but understandable, it hits hard with some good old fashioned feels but it's also incredibly delicate and fine tuned which leaves you stunned for hours after the final credits roll. The art of FMA:B is quite good for an older animation, beautiful backgrounds mixed with amazing fight scene animation and gorgeous detail make FMA:B some serious eye candy.
