Pala, norėjau paklausti o pats discorto nenaudoji? Kažkaip man ten patogiau bendrauti

No problem, think of it as an extended Secret Santa gift! :D
Yeahh, the elf presents I got have all been good, so I can’t complain. :)
The first time I wrote a present was pretty tragic too. Although I did have more than one recommendation, I only wrote a couple basic sentences about the story.

Oh, that's a sweet way to look at it. I tend to steer away from tragedies for that reason, but each to their own.

And yeah, take your time. It’s probably better to be in the right mindset to fully enjoy these manga. As I can see that they appeal to a certain niche more than being widely enjoyable. I was a bit worried you would have already come across most of these manga, because they’re actually rated pretty highly on MAL. But I hope you can enjoy them in someway.~

Your English is good, I could have never guessed.. :0
Aww, I appreciate that you weren't lazy. :))
In the past, my santas' have always been naughty. So, you're my only santa who hasn't gotten coal. :>

I agree! Weirdly enough, it feels like you're seeing a cameo or crossover. I can't help but get excited when they pop up lol. I also love the introduction of historical figures as time progresses in the story as well.~

I've read a bit more of Versailles no Bara now, and I will say I definitely like it more than before. Oscar and Rosalie are probably my favourite so far.~ Hm, I'll make sure to be more aware of Marie's growth throughout. :) I am quite excited to see how the manga goes, and how it compares historically. Objectively I do think Versailles no Bara was best suited to my likes though! Nonetheless, I still have quite a bit to go, only time will tell.~

Lastly, in the late spirit of gifting, I've compiled a small list of recommendations for you. :)

Since you enjoyed Billy Bat, my first recommendation for you is Montage. As the synopsis suggests Montage continuously shifts through the past before the ‘incident’, and the present where we follow the two leads in uncovering the mystery. The way in which both time periods slowly edge closer together as everything unfolds was easily my favourite aspect. I will admit I haven’t read Montage in a long time as I had caught up with the English scans at that time, so my memory is pretty hazy. Unfortunately, it is not fully scanlated in English yet, but I highly recommend it if you’re looking for another mystery, drama manga based on a real event! :)

Looking at your favourites, you seem to enjoy bittersweet manga so my second recommendation for you is For the Sake of Sita. For the Sake of Rita is a simple love story about a romance that is not meant to be. The webtoon is quite short, so the characters are not as very complex or fleshed out. But in some aspects, the fast-paced nature enhances the webtoon as the emotions from the previous chapters are still fresh and raw in your memory. ;;

On a similar note, I highly recommend Cat Street. The story follows Keito in her recovery back into society after a traumatic experience on stage. Each member of the main cast of characters are likable and you begin to root for their success as they slowly grow together with the female lead. The aspect which made me fall in love with this manga is its ability to maintain slow-paced, while keeping the story moving and allowing for the characters to grow. While not exactly ‘bittersweet’, the manga maintains a somber mood throughout, even towards the end. This is one of my personal favourite manga, so it might just be my bias speaking. :>

Not too sure about these final two manga as I’m not very philosophical per se, but I don’t see either Oyasumi PunPun and Omoide Emanon on your list. These manga might already be under your radar due to its popularity, but I’d recommend them anyway. :> I don't think I can do them justice in my explanation, so I will leave you with these final two.~

I do hope on of these manga interest you. :D

Hello BladeCast!

I just wanted to thank you for your Secret Santa gift! At first glance all of these titles are right up my alley, especially Versailles no Bara which I've heard many good things about but never found the motivation to start reading.~

To start with Billy Bat is a title I would not have picked up on my own. But I'm so glad you recommended it to me, because I really like it so far! The whole premise of the manga has really kept me on my toes, and I love how it’s all unravelling and linking together. :)

As for Versailles no Bara, I'm pretty conflicted on my feelings about it. I've only read the first volume, so it's probably too early for me to make these judgements but I'm not too sure if I like the characters or not. I'm curious to know how you felt about the rest of the cast apart from Oscar?

I haven’t had the time to start Shingetsutan Tsukihime, however it looks interesting! I’m not familiar with the Fate series at all, so I’m excited to try it out when I have the time! :D

I really appreciate the gift. Again, thank you so much for all these recommendations!~ I apologise in advance if my write up is a bit short, my writing skills are pretty dreadful. ^^;

Psycho-Pass I and Aldnoah Zero are produced by Urobuchi, Gen. Really worth watching, just like Fate Zero :)
