I wouldn't say a "favorite panel" but there is a scene (4 panels) that always sticks in my mind whenever I think of BIY:
As for the most relatable character, (if it isn't obvious from the panels above) is probably Maki. Being Ace myself and Maki being AroAce made it easy and enjoyable to see a character at least similar to me in my favorite manga/book/anime.

To answer/respond to your questions~ I also was unsatisfied with only 13 eps and (after reading the finished manga) they def have enough for at least a short movie that finishes the story. I personally like both equally (manga and anime) as they both bring a lot to the table but I loved the ending so if I had to choose, probably manga but the anime is still a 10/10 must watch.
And yes!!! BIY has such realist characters, dialogue, and overall story. Its so refreshing to see and is the reason its consistently been my #1 for so long. (I could go on forever honestly explaining every amazing about the show but I’ll keep my excitement to a minimum xd)
Recalling my video reference earlier, I definitely think Yuu is demi, not so much aro like maki but demi. You’ll find out more in the manga but she well.. you’ll have to read I don’t want to spoil you. Have a fun read!

Wholesome Girl's Love Manga
I have 4 volumes of Whisper me a Love Song and its personally my favorite type of yuri to read but objectively, Bloom into you has the best story and characters plus the anime was amazing~
I also like emotional music too. Something about being able to hear the emotions from the singer makes me seek out really strong vocalists to begin with. My personal favorite being Minami
I personally like any contrasting personalities. While I don't dislike those who sync well, something with seeing two people who live in totally different worlds clash and learn and being something together and amazing and happens a lot of yuri manga (which is also why I love the genre). I also like the "Kuudere" or more shy and/or emotionless trope for characters. Seeing someone open up or discover something new (like in Citrus with Mei) has a deeper effect and I love it to bits~~
Also, do you recommend NANA? I'm very jaded to too drama heavy shows and I'm iffy on the "romance." If its yuri/straight idrm I just hate heavily baited shows.

Personally I like to listen to j-rock, j-rock, music from anime, some rock and rap, and a little bit of k-pop~
And hmm the only girls love anime I’ve seen is citrus and bloom into you but I would recommend bloom into you if you haven’t seen it yet it’s pretty good, I even picked up the manga to finish it ! I’ve been meaning to watch more of that genre lmao
and yes of course! since i saw you have Lain and Monster in your favorites i can see you like your psychological/mystery shows so i recommended Paranoia Agent, Ergo Proxy, and Hell Girl is good too
but let me know if there is any other genres you want recommendations in!
