I thought this kind of anime will only show us what we expect it is gonna be, like a lot expected things or scene happen in the episode and i thought its gonna be a repitive story where every episode will only fill with the character play in the arcade. And i realize how wrong i am.

If the story only tells us about game, it's gonna be really boring but fortunately this anime not only tell us about what kind game is it or what the character really likes about those games, but the story ... is actually interesting because it has childhood romance which really really fit the story. The anime also has an unique storytelling, sometimes when the protagonist are having some 'big event' or 'flag' there will be some of his fantasy from his favorite character of the game cheering him up. That unique style of storytelling really enhance the anime because it makes us feel like we are a kid who feels game are everything in our life just like the protagonist.
The balance between the romance and the game of this anime is not one-sided but both are balanced which makes the anime so enjoyable to watch.
I would really love to watch those 3 OVA as soon as possible.

It's CGI anime so i expect less from this anime, but after finishing the anime i think the CGI is not as bad as "that anime that everyone wait for, and ended up with bad, awful CGI and it got 2 SEASON". But in this anime even though looks like both shows have a same CGI style, the CGI in this anime is properly done. It got emotion, which actually enhanced the experience of watching a CGI anime which i personally not like that much, but this one works.

The opening and ending song of this anime is so creative and it really pictured in my mind. I usually skip an opening, but for this anime, i dont skip the opening just to watch the creative scene and listen the song.

I really really love those game from late 80 and 90s because it's just so unique and simple. And that feeling of the games are created on the anime. The anime done so properly that even excite me enough to want to play those games that are exist on anime. I even try those 'ad' games that show up on the middle of each episode, those 'ad's have a really good place to show it up. I even try some of those.

For that, i recommend this anime for you who enjoy anime with retro game vibe with good 'osananajimi' or childhood romance story.

I expect so much as an anime watcher from this show, since i always hype about anime that has no school story, unviersity is a complete difference experience than school, that's why i always hype or looking forward to watch anime that has this kind of story ever since i watched genshiken (a bit) and golden time.

But, as i watched the first episode i kinda feel something is wrong with this. The art is really entertaining (i really like comedy with OVERDETAILED face, it makes the comedy even good) thats the good part, but not all of it is that good. For me the ... story is kinda bland. It confuse me on what part the story want to focus to, is it the comedy? the club? the relationship? idk, i know the story is not all, but because the story is not all, at least focus on something. Well at least the comedy is good i almost always laugh on every episode because of it. And watching iori and kouhei bonding is fun too, but i still can't accept it end just like that, it just feels too hanging and bland.

I know that the point of this anime is showing a heavy comedy while showing us how beautiful is our world (sea) is. But IMO there are two ways to do a heavy comedy.
One is do the heavy comedy with light story,
and the other one is do the heavy comedy along with the heavy story.

I feel that Grand Blue doesn't choose either of them, making it so unbalanced. The gap between the story and the comedy is big, making it kinda feels weird when the anime actually tells what's the story about.

After watching it, all i can say is not every anime is for everyone.
Its an anime for you that searching anime with heavy comedy and light story.

The story of this anime is really OK, but what makes it so good and fun to watch is not the story. You know, after watched this anime, i start to rethink of what makes an anime, an anime? i'm never think about this before, but after watching this, it makes me think you know? If you haven't think about it before, try it!
The answer for me is, if the anime is memorable enough and you can't even forget about it, it what makes the anime, anime. No matter how bad it is as long you remember how silly or how great it is, it's ... what makes it great.

So let me tell you what's so good about this anime. The character stay in character, the art is increasing in a good and right way as the show goes. At first you know some character and especially the main character, all of it is actually your typical anime character, but what makes them memorable is that they (who make the anime) can make the character so suit the anime.
Or in other way i say it, the character is what makes the anime good and fun to watch.
From how they tell or bring the story, to how they end the story, the art and the Seiyuu is what makes the anime feels so alive.

More of it, if you are a gamer (especially if you are since jhs), you will find so much similiarity with the main character. i see the gamer side of the main character makes it even more entertaining. idk maybe because i know what all the references of the game on the anime are so i feel so joy. But if it is about the game i don't think its gonna excite me to watch it this much!
I think what makes it entertain to watch because it feels so relatable with me. The way she play the game overnight, and meeting other people online, its just feels so real.
I never think way go to school this fun before, and this anime show me how fun it is.

And i think the art is what makes it even memorable. At first it may be seems like usual art but as the anime shows its true self, it will also shows its true art too, from your usual art to the art that makes you love it because its unique.
The ost is suit too, i love some of it, it kinda relaxing so its suit the anime so well.

I was wishing to see this anime in the future, because it has so much potential, even i want to try to eat some more from the manga, but then i realize how little i know about it.

If i explain Isekai Shokudou in a few words, it will be, "Anime that has story with deep fantasy that almost every character is like a child in adult body because when they going beyond that door, they will forget who and what they are."

If somebody ask me, what is your favorite 'relax' anime? I will say without hesitation, "Its Isekai Shokudou"
Now maybe some of you will ask why. I know that this anime is not perfect, but that what makes the anime so remarkable for me. From the first episode you should know what will this anime about. Yes its about restaurant that has ... 'bar' vibe. But why bar you ask? Well its because the customer always them again and them again, but as the story going we will know that they has a deep deep story that related each other. It is what makes me awe the show. Knowing what kind of world beyond Isekai Shokudou from each other different perspective are what makes me think its more awesome rather than we watch full one episode of them doing their things themselves and at the end of the episode they will go to Isekai Shokudou to eat and the ending credit starts.

Everytime the scene starts at Isekai Shokudou we know that we will be shown of new menu or food while some of the known food are eaten by their 'master'. What makes such scene success is beside the appetizing art but after they take the first bite and the violin OST played, its just so captivating. I think the music in this anime is what makes the anime success so much, without it, it will not be Isekai Shokudou we know.

Koi wa Ameagari no You ni or After the Rain is not actually a romance show. So if you wish to watch a hard romance, dont expect it here. The show, show us a hard 'slice of life', how dreams affect us as living being who live coexist and don't see on what age we are.

What is great about the show is, what i expect the show to be a romance with 'unusual' set and will be have an assured ending. Well, i am really wrong.
Romance is a side genre from this anime, life is the main genre. It tells us how dream can ... be a symbol of hope to us, who live without and with obstacles.

what makes it even better is all aspect of the anime support the story greatly. The art, sound, and character are well built that makes the anime very eye catching and makes us want to watch it in one sit.

But the reason why I only give it a 8 and not 9 or 10 is, i'm not really into such 'set', but it kind of blown me away after i finished it. I like it, the music, art, and character in this anime is well known than other anime, which makes it more powerful than other anime with same genre.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is an Anime that at the end of the show, you will say "Ah, it is finally end.".

This another story of GGO has a good beginning of story, it interest me since first episode, I can't deny it. But as the show goes, the show just realize me that this show has many flaw.

It got a good backstory.
"You do not satisfy with you real life condition. So you want to play a game as a different person."
It suit the story of GGO as a virtual game online so well. But a good backstory isn't enough to ... say that the story is good.

Half of the show it is still acceptable, the story still has a good pace, good story telling, good character representing, good game mechanic, more gun action than the previous GGO show. But, what is making me unsatisfy with this show is, after that "ok" first half of the show (because i expect it is just an opening for the show at least), the other half of the show is just complete torment.

The rest of the show (the last half of the show) has a really really poor character, I mean these characters that we should've knew how they supposed to be, is not gonna be what we expected. It got so much unreasonable action, poorly characterization, some other new character out from nowhere that has zero backstory that maybe or not and unexpectedly has some influence with the story.

Here is my suggestion for you who haven't watch the show yet.
Just watch half of the show.
You should have know "who is" and how the story gonna be, when you have watched first half of the story (6 episodes). I guarantee, yes it have the story and "who is" that you expected. Except you are actually clueless well i don't rush you.

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai is a bittersweet anime that has a cozy atmosphere all around the show.

Sadness, happiness, love, which are from those feelings that affect human most?
You all have must have different answer each one of you. But after that you must be realize that those feelings are things that affect human most. Because they are .. Feeling.

This anime show us what it means for us as a human that have so much feeling while we living our life. In here, the protagonist of the story is started his story with deep sadness, and then as the time goes he feels more ... feeling, like happiness, friendship, daily routine, and love. Even though after he feels all those feeling, that sadness that he feel so deeply is never forgotten. He know that from that sadness he found a point where it can be declare like this.

"If you can go back in time where you can make up your regret isn't it great?"
"But you can't"
"Isn't preventing repetition of the same regret better?"

These three statement hit me hard, it is true. I don't know if some of you also think the same way as the statement but for me its something new about how we should responsible against our regret. And thats what the makes the show great.

But beside that the rest of the show is kind of mediocre. Let me explain it.
The story and the character, to be fair it feels so mediocre. But its mediocre in good way and not in the bad way, so it is still fun to watch.
The art is smooth, it suit the anime so well.
The sound, ahh this one, I really love the sound in this anime, especially the piano soundtrack. I really really love it, it suit the atmosphere of the show so well.
PS : if someone know the anime that have same atmosphere as Tada-kun (i know there is i had watched it but forget what it is) with same melody like soundtrack in this anime, tell me!

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii is a must watch anime for us who enjoy and know much about anime and Japanese pop culture.

I always expect much from anime with working adult theme. Because well, we can say that one adult know much more than other adult. I'm sorry if what I'm saying is not clear.
What I want to declare here is, maybe some of you feel it too maybe some not, but what i feel towards theme like this, its always has a different view than common anime. Well, maybe I'm too exaggerating, but for me, it is always anime like this that makes ... me confuse when will I watching it. Anime like this is like gambling, sometimes it is really good, and sometimes not really that good.
In this case wotaku has give me a really really good enjoyment from such theme. Because in this anime, the writer not only gives the enjoyment, and the feeling, towards the character of the story, but to us too, the watcher.
What can beat such a relatable moment when watching anime that maybe we know about, we like about, and we favorite about?

This anime has a really balance story progression, character development, and good romance which makes us wanna cuddle with our partner. The story is told with no rush, but with slow progression that makes the show feels has a fast paced story, but it is not. The character is told balancely alongside the story which makes the show even awesome. And the reference that makes us the watcher feels so relatable with the character of the story is what makes this anime even outstanding.
But even every good story has a flaw. And the flaw in this anime is, it has an ending.

Devils Line is an anime with good story progression.
In my first impression, what i expect from the synopsis. Its gonna be a mediocre story, and character. But after seeing 4 episodes i can see the writer of this story has make the potential of the content out nicely. Nicely here is not nice for mediocre, but nice almost for very good one.

As we always see, anime or show like this is gonna have an expected story progression with expected character. But the result i got from finishing the show has prove me wrong (even though not all of them are unexpected, but still ... the "mediocre" thing we expect its gonna be is balanced with the good story progression and unexpected character).

At the end of the word, the show has give me enough enjoyment, which makes me kind of grateful for watching this anime because it gives me hope for anime, because lately instead of giving us a story we are not expected or at least a show that makes us say "its very good anime", they give us poor adaptation, mediocre story and character, and poorly progress of story content.
