When I started with anime at 8/9, my first anime were "Elfenlied", "Tokyo Ghoul" and "Vampire Hunter D". I think that's also the reason why I used to find "S.A.O" boring. Well, now it's more like a mixture between "Sick Psycho Girlfriend" and "Golden Boy".

Best moments that I watched! (Honestly, I can't decide)
Thinking about it, it reminds me of the moment my mom saw an anime for the first time. ("Sailor Moon" doesn't count here, she still thinks it's a cartoon).
I was sitting there in the living room (because my room had been commandeered by a wasp) watching Food Wars. When my mom came over, she wanted to know what I was watching, so I put the first episode on for her... since then, she didn't want to watch anime with me anymore XD
But seriously, do you guys know of any anime that's good for first impressions? (Apart from "Boku no Pico" and "Welcome to the Bitch Boys Club"? No? Me neither XD)

You know when you pick up a manga for the first time and have no idea how it's printed? That's how my mom felt when she got me my first manga, "Yona - Princess of the Dawn". After the fourth mangs, I explained to her that this is ow it has to be. She thought it was a misprint XD
Well for some like "Yona" or "Haikyu!!" she got me some DVD's with the episodes on them, which I never watched because I watch online XD
