lol, I meant the english show Ghost Stories (teen show where they investigate supposed haunted houses) or japanese anime. Got the answer anyway ;)

Not much. Up to my ears in projects.

I got it now. I don't think there's very much potential for it though, for 2 reasons. First, it's actually rather difficult to animate. Drawing 2 characters entwined is always a technical challenge end even more so when they're moving and straining against each other (hence the standard dustball with limbs graphic used for a lot of shows). And second, it's been proven less appealing to most viewers. If a person doesn't already know what they're looking at, they're likely to be more excited by a fist to the face than any number of technical holds or locks which is why we never see it very much in movies or TV.

there's always the possibility of an anime specifically about it (either Judo or Grecco Roman wrestling or something) with a character running commentary to keep the audience involved. But other than that I don't think it'll come up often

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that. Sounds more like you're talking about military action rather than martial arts

not really. As a kid I was a bit interested in karate after watching the ninja turtles movies (like so many others) but I never actually started anything. Now my only real interest in martial arts is to be able to draw a more convincing action stance ;)

I could, but I believe that I'm far too lazy for that now.
