Baka & Test was a fun, comedy series that focused on students having battles and gaining points to rank up their class, Classroom of the Elite works in a similar manner, however it is more serious and darker compared to Baka & Test.

Story (7/10)

The story mainly follows Ayanokouji Kiyotaka and Horikita Suzune, who are basically trying to get Class-D to become Class-A, but getting to this position isn't going to be easy.
Now Baka & Test didn't really have much of a story other than something similar to this, hence why I made the comparison so quickly, but this mainly qualifies for the read more

Throughout this year, there have been many an anime that has been set in another world, some have been good, while others have been bad, but Re:Creators decides to do the opposite and bring the fantasy beings to our world and the result was quite surprising.

Story (9/10)

The story begins with Sota Mizushino, who suddenly ends up in an anime, then after encountering a girl in a military uniform, the anime's main heroine ends up in the real world with Sota, however more creations are ending up in the real world and Sota must find out why.
The first half is very simple and straightforward read more

Steamboy is one of the very few anime's that is set in my home country, the UK, during the Victorian era and for a movie, which concentrates on steam and the power of invention it was definitely an entertaining 2 hours.

Story (10/10)

The story concentrates mainly on James Ray Steam or just Ray, his father and grandfather have found something called a Steamball, a device that can provide any steam powered machine with unlimited power, but keeping his grandfathers warnings to mind, Ray tries his best to keep the steamball away from any evil doers who wish to exploit it's power.

Warning possible Spoilers

It was kinda surprising to see that this movie was actually a remake of the original series back in the seventies, so I saw what the movie would offer and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Story (6/10)

However just because it isn't bad, doesn't mean it has it's weak points and the story is definitely a weak point, sure it was simple as our MC Yama is a spy on Harlock's ship and tries to kill him, until he starts to realise what Harlock is doing and then a whole bunch of stuff that seemed like a ripoff of Wall-E happened, like read more

2017 continues to be a year, where I watch anime's that are less than 20 minutes long, I have ran into a few that are either pretty damn bad or pretty damn good and for Tsurezure Children it was definitely pretty damn good.

Story (8/10)

Tsurezure Children focuses on the developing relationships between certain couples in high school, that's pretty much the gist of the story, however there is a lot more to it than that.
The best part of the story is seeing these couples going through different, although similar problems and how they can overcome these problems, it was really interesting how each couple read more

ID-0 (Anime) add (All reviews)
Warning possible Spoilers

Considering I had just watched Knight's and Magic before going into this, I didn't have a good feeling about ID-0, luckily it wasn't that bad and still had some good points, but it still had some bad points too.

Story (6/10)

ID-0's story, mainly concentrates on Ido, who is trying to find out who he really is, since he has no memory from before he became an I-machine, luckily he has a rag tag crew to help him out.
The story starts off a little slow, it takes time to introduce the characters, but it starts shifting into gear once you reach episode 4 or 5 read more

By the time I had started watching Knights and Magic, it had been a while since I saw a mecha anime, especially one that was set in a medieval fantasy, with an MC that seemed like the Tony Stark of building Mecha's.

Story (6/10)

The story begins a lot like Youjo Senki, where our MC dies and is reborn in another world, the only difference is that one is set in an alternate world war, while this anime is set in a medieval fantasy.
Our MC Ernesti basically wants to build the greatest Silhouette Knight ever, so with the help of his friends and many read more

Warning possible Spoilers

From time to time, I do like a good mystery anime ranging from Death Note, Another, Death Parade, When They Cry or even Hyouka. However 18if is one of those mystery anime's that looks like it has no idea what it wants to be.

Story (4/10)

The story concentrates on Haruto Tsukishiro, who wakes up in a mysterious room and encounters a witch, defeating the witch he realises he is in the dreamworld and must save other people, who have become witches in this weird reality.
The gist of the story for the most part, is Haruto trying to save different female characters who have become read more

After seeing Monster Musume and Interviews with Monster Girls, I was really wondering what this anime would bring to the table, at first I thought it was going to be pretty boring, yet by the end I actually enjoyed it.

Story (8/10)

The story is set in a world where normal humans don't exist, instead evolution has produced many different types of supernatural humans who all have an equal life, we focus on Himeno, a centaur girl along her friends as they live out their school life.
Now the story focuses a lot on the Slice of life genre, we see Himeno, Nozomi and Kyouko doing read more

After the spring season this year, I had high hopes that Eromanga-Sensei would remain my worst anime of 2017, then I decided to watch "In another world with my smartphone" and oh boy was it pure trash.

Story (3/10)

Now if you've watched as many harems as I have, then you'll know the story won't be impressive, true there are some that are pretty good (Like HS DxD or Haganai), but this was just cliched as hell.
The story follows our MC Touya Mochizuki, who died and by the powers of God he ended up in a fantasy world along with his smartphone, there he meets read more
