Akira Kurosawa is the greatest director (one of for sure) in the whole world, I honestly think. Real Genius. And I was always amazed how he achieved that unattainable level, then in that time there was no such powerful "film schools/universities"...
The most intelligent and smart, philosophic films ever created.
"Ikiru", "Dersu Uzala", "Seven Samurai"... Every work of this man is complete Masterpiece. "Sanjuro" is so great film... I think it is best in the cycle of stories of anonymous ronin. But of course other are real masterpieces too. I can write about every film, but... Well, just saw your very nice avatar, ha-ha, and wanted to say these things. More after I entered your profile and found that you are young man from Japan.
