Did you see the series of videos involving the guy who was trying to find and attack him? Then they ended up meeting and becoming friends. The funniest moment (for me) in all that was a video on Leafy's channel of the guy talking as if he had taken over the channel, then it showed Leafy in the background tied up. (Obviously a skit between them. They made another video or two jokingly acting like they were a gay couple.)
Wow, someone who actually appreciates Leafy! "Genuine and honest" is how I would describe him too. I think the people bashing him weren't actually paying much attention to his content, instead just cherry-picking stuff they could insult him for. I only discovered him this year, but spent many hours watching his videos. He became my favorite commentary-style YouTuber. It's such BS that his channel got taken down. I'm sure the videos are archived somewhere, at least.
