Other than their similarities within their plot, a guy meeting a girl with health problems, the characters in these movies are also quite similar. The story mainly revolves around two characters, a resilient person who does not know the concept of giving up and a person having little to no interest in life; then they meet, and they thrive together; what happened next is simply unexpected. If you want to know what happened next, then you might what to check it out.

Features a romantic tale where the heroine is older than the hero, them presenting a story that many people can relate to and them showing what love really can do. Other things to keep in mind when considering in watching these two are their soundtracks and visuals.

Although "A Silent Voice" is a lot heavier to the heart in contrast to "Josee," the two can still be considered as similar since both have a premise of a guy falling in love with a disabled girl. Other than that, the two are also accompanied by a phenomenal soundtrack and astonishing graphics and animation. If you've already watched "A Silent Voice" and liked it, then I am positive that you'll also like "Josee."

Terrific world-building, a considerable amount of lore, and well... a lot of character deaths. Although "Akame ga Kill" is about a group of assassins while "86" centers on an oppressed minority, I still consider these series similar since both fairly presents an idea where there is an outrageous government being chaotic neutral to chaotic evil towards its people (also presents racism, so yeah...). Loads of depressing scenes, passing and annihilation after demise then extinction; one can even call these two as "who would die next?" The Anime. Anyway, I recommend both to anyone who enjoys watching fantasy/sci-fi that presents ideas about the darker side of society.

Offers a similar idea presenting the relationship between a master and their servant, except "Inu x Boku SS" focuses more on the romantic premise, whereas "Shadows House" is not romantic in any way and has a sinister ring to it. Thereby If you had watched "Inu x Boku SS" but wished it was darker, then go ahead and watch "Shadows House." If you had watched "Shadows House" but wished it has the romantic premise, then you might want to check "Inu x Boku SS."

Are about a timid, pessimistic, and quite depressed white-haired girl who sees the world negatively; however, an unexpected event has happened, resulting in her meeting someone who could change her perspective and mindset towards life. As for my opinion, both has numerous amount of heart-fluttering and touching moments that even an avid romance watcher might find surprising.

Similar artistic approach using both 2D and 3D assets and then blends them to become a whole new definition of astonishing. I find every scene from both series is splendid, creative, and are mesmerizing to the eyes, and I can guarantee that one would not find either boring in any way. Other than that, the similarities emphasize the premise and character dynamics as well, since it is about a group of friends discovering love from one another while trying to comprehend the fantastical aspects that revolve around it. With all that said, I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romantic ideas mixed with fantasy concepts.

Tells a tale of a woman who sees the world differently as they try to comprehend the concept of happiness. However, as the story progresses, she will meet new people who could teach and told her otherwise, turning her into a fresh perspective that will develop her overall character. Another similarity is within the ambiance since both have a dramatic tone to them that can potentially give the "feels" to anyone who would watch these. The two also have remarkable animation and soundtracks that most people could find mesmerizing. If you want to watch a fantasy series that deals heavily with the concept of discovering oneself, then I highly recommend these series to you.

Focuses on a character who is granted a chance to go back into the past, providing them an opportunity to take back what was lost and for them to relive the life they could've had. Both have a school setting; however, the personalities of the main character as different. Nevertheless, the two can still give the same feelings and vibes as both incorporate the same concept at some point from the series.

The two revolve around the concepts of family relationships, parenting, and fantasy as a cherry on top with a premise of both the parent and the child learning valuable lessons as they encounter memorable experiences with one another. As for my opinion, the two are one of the shows that hit too close to home. What I mean by that is both are relatable, and I enjoyed every part of it. Hence, I recommend both to anyone who also appreciates these kinds of stuff.

Heartwarming yet painful series that focuses on the premise of a paternal bond between a father and his daughter, the daughter who yearns to learn the world while her father has something to hide that is a bitter truth. If you are curious about it, then go ahead and discover it for yourself. On the other hand, the ambiance between the two differs as "SomaliMori" focuses more on drama, world-building, and fantasy aspects, whereas "Kakushigoto" is a standard slice of life anime consisting of both drama and comedy. Nevertheless, both are fun and interesting to watch as they primarily present the same concept.

This recommendation is one-sided since "Accelerator" is part of a massive franchise (which means you need to watch the series before it to understand this one) unless you have already seen/know the "Toaru" franchise. In simple terms, if you enjoyed the premise in accelerator wherein a powerful being is babysitting a literal child, then you might want to check "SomaliMori." Apart from that, I think the two are similar (aside from the premise) in retrospect of their character dynamics while being different in everything else (especially in the concepts used). With that said, I find "Accelerator" being fairly similar to "Golem" in terms of their attributes, while "Somali" having the capacity to bring the same vibes as "Last Order" as they essentially have the same personality.

Moreover, for me, the two have the same ambiance as they can bring in those wholesome yet sorrowful feels. Although both revolve around various concepts (musical in "Sound! Euphonium" while theatrical in "Revue Starlight"), they are, however, similar nonetheless as the two reflect the same premise about a young girl wanting to become a star. For me, the character dynamics are the same; Karen from "Revue Starlight" is essentially Kumiko from "Sound! Euphonium" while "Hikari" from "Revue Starlight" is basically "Reina" from "Sound! Euphonium." To simply put, it focuses on the relationship between a cheerful type (deredere) and a cold type (kuudere). With all that said, if you enjoyed either, then I am sure you will love the latter too!

Great anime romance movies to watch for relaxing and passing the time as they are lighthearted, short, and aren't too heavy for the heart yet can still give the same sensation as other dramatic romance films can do. Moreover, I think that the premise and setting are highly similar; a tale about a young schoolgirl who cannot confess to her crush. I recommend both for those who want to watch a non-depressing melodramatic romance film.

"Love Me, Love Me Not" is remarkably similar to "A Lull in the Sea" but without the "sea/ocean" concept. From friends to lovers, confession, rejection, unrequited love, and a five-way romance. If you like all or most of those things, then I think both can provide the same feeling to you as it starts as funny and proceeds to become dramatic over time.
