If you check my PM, i gave you some detailed information on what i want on the site layout. But unless your on here most of the time so we can stay in contact (which i am on here mostly all the time). But if your not, we might want to find a better means of contacting each other.
This is a great way to contact each other because i am on here 24/7 my self, but it would certainly be much easier if we were live chatting.
I don't ever think you saw my niece before, but she is born now and about 1 in a half years old. I remember when i was chatting to, i told you bout before.
But i have a photo of me and her on here lol
along with my anime and video game collection that i been collecting since i was like 12 if you want to check it out.
Oh, I'm sorry, I just guessed you would be over 20, cause you sound very mature for your age.
Well, I think being more mature in that age, is a great thing, though, so kudos to you! :D hehe
If the club is still there in 2 years, we'll be waiting for you to join, then! ;D
About characters, I like to see behind the obvious too. I tend to overanalyze them sometimes, but I love it when the characters give me the opportunity to do so.
Today, in most anime, characters are so flat and I wouldn't care less for what they're going through, since pretty much all their "worries" are stupid and completely unimportant.
I think that for a viewer to be able to appreciate a character and want to follow their story, is for the character to have a personality that's worth watching, coming through struggles and maturing is a good example.
That's why I tend to love anti-heroes. It's this two-sided peronality they hold, that trully fascinates me.
I do believe in peace too, and I want to think myself as someone who puts justice high (well.. it's obvious from my name I guess :P -deathnote reference but nevertheless true-). Still I love seeing characters struggling with their dark side, because I believe we all have such a side inside us. Most of the time those characters are more awesome, just because of this constant struggle, that has matured them more.
About Minatsuki now, I really believe that you described her case exactly as it is. Although I don't think people actually cared for her mentality by locking her up in DW. I think they just wanted to get rid of her..
I see DW as a big wastleland for the outside world, and well.. experiment land for all the psycho professors, like the director, inside..
I left the manga a while ago, I had heard about the anime adaptation, and I usually prefer anime to manga, because of the whole atmoshere created by the music, voice acting, etc. But maybe I'll pick it up again, since I'm not sure if 12 episdoes will cover the whole series and I think the atmosphere in this case, was much better in the manga. (I remember being shocked with the whole Minatsuki revelation and all.. it was an intense chapter!)
Hey , sorry for late reply...
My inbox is bugged and i can't send messages right now , so i just wrote here. Sorry again , but i can't manage the job of co-admin atm because I'm studying for university entrance exams and I spend my free time only relaxing with some anime / manga and so on . I hope you find someone else who is reliable , so we can spread the love for Minatsuki ! ;3
Hi there! ;) I pretty much like all of your favs, u've got nice taste! :))
I came here from your post in Deadman Wonderland. I liked your opinion on Minatsuki, I also read the link you posted and was surprised of how accurate that approach of her character was!
I was pretty much seeing her as the psycic bitch she still is, but you tried to put a more human side to her, which can be debatable, since I still can't totally "understand" her ultimate transformation, although I still enjoy her bitchy character a lot!
Anyway.. I wanted to ask you, if you are over 20? It would be great if you could join our club for anime fans over 20 and share your opinions with the rest of us in our forums! :) Here is a link:http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=25565
