I prefer seasonal, I get three main advantages watching seasonal anime (I will try to be as brief as possible lol):

1) Gives more diversity to your watching list. You will never know that certain anime will suck or suddenly be a masterpiece until you watch it until the end. With a finished one is ruined that experience since the scores and reviews are already tells you a little bit about (also If you see in the general score that sucks, why would gonna watch it? lol).

2) Fresh links. I hate the feel that the links of the page are already broken (common in old stuff animes), forcing me look in the unsafe sites ones.

3) It's the best way to share thoughts about anime to a friend. Nothing beats that! It's weekly so we can talk about the same anime at least 12 times and how is episodic we talk about the most recent scenario and make theories, etc. The problem is that not everyone like to watch the same anime that you are watching by various reason but when is something common, is great!

Have you tried seasonal anime? or do you prefer watch them after is complete the season?

I find very unreliable just do that (really, is like that you love SAO's ALO arc?)

As I told to my middle brother a couple days ago, if an anime is good but not enough to wish to watch it again (or no want to watch specific parts like filler arcs), then it should be 7 (good) or lower. Any enjoyable one enough to waste your time again is minimum 8 (very good). Usually the problem is when you have to give 9 (excellent) or 10 (masterpiece) since is depending of your tastes.
