A general isekai where the mc is sent into a country at war with everyone, as a loli lieutnant on the front line. What could happen?

The plot is simple to follow, nothing intriguing, and there is more "peaceful" anime that is gorier than this.

The character plot revolves in the fact that the main character does not accept being isekai'd from anyone and rejects the idea of being sent by a higher, divine, intervention, and goes so far as to oppose any further intervention of this divine being, along with the whole world.

Basically it's something similar to Lelouch, where Lelouch does not ... achieve anything but still has his conflict with God.... or whatever the Japanese think that God should be.
For the same reason, if you are a fan of Code Geass, you will be a fan of Youjo Senki.

Art per total is not brilliant. It does try to involve a peculiar type of drawing of characters, but is rather simple. The opening and endings though are great and are totally in the atmosphere with the anime. They can be only considered as art though.

Sound is ok. Fairly decent. The music and the atmosphere of the anime is great.

Overall enjoyment was mild. It wasn't coming with anything to be considered breakthrough, the plot devices where simple and the general conflict was the same.
The only thing worth notifying about being "spectacular", and worth attention is the fighting style of the anime....

The characters were pretty hollow, including the main character. I thought it could be something interesting, jaw-dropping, but sincerely, it wasn't. I've seen much better characters in more commercial and rushed anime.

And I think, to many fans contrary, that Tanya's character is pretty inflated. Like a balloon. Just like this anime.

Death march is an isekai that is heavy harem focused and loli obsessed.

Style is ok, but is not refined.

Plot-wise is simple. It focuses around a main character who is overpowered and tries to do good things around him, while being accompanied by a loli army. There is no main conflict and the romance is forced. The plot I consider to be a walk in the park style, meaning you take part of an adventure of a main character that does small quests along his travels. There is no major conflict. There is no drama, no ... tragedy. And maybe that's what it makes its brilliance.

I recommend this if you want to follow light story, that won't stress you with a hard thought plot and so on.

A mediocre isekai anime where the opponents use besides magic, their minds and try to challenge the world itself where they are summoned to.

Well, I'm not really impressed about this anime. I thought it would have something peculiar about it. But somehow is an anime that can be watched.

Art is a little bother. Mediocre and even sub-par. They tried to use colors to give the vibe of a virtual reality or something like that. I found it pretty distasteful.

Sound was good. Not something really interesting. But it had synth. Synth gives it a 10. That ... and Unexpected fanservice. That is what fanservice should be about. You'll know what I mean if you are a fan of Ace Attourney.

Plot device like is similar to Death Note. So if you are a fan of Death Note I guess you should watch this.

It is an outstanding anime, even though it starts boring in the beginning, the conflicts that develop later make up for every flaw that it has.

It starts as a typical isekai, with a style inspired from gatari series and/or movies, where a teen gets stranded in a new world, but with a twist. He is not overpowered, but a loser. Which is put in so many situations until he figures out how to break through his bland character.

Every character in this anime looks very bland at the beginning, so bland that you don't ... know what to expect. And the gatari style narration of the dialogues does not help at all. In the beginning. Until the conflicts build up. Dramatically and tragically.
So dramatic and tragic it will become, from the boring, typical, bland beginning, that it will make you nauseous. You won't believe it.
And the way the conflicts will be solved and all drama and tragedy attuned for, you will know then that this anime is art. You will love it.

The animation overall is somehow bland. The style used it is the same as in some of the gatari series. Characters are not really well drawn.

The seiyuus many times rush the dialogue, because it is so much dialogue and so well defined, skipping their acting and just reading, literally, in the beginning. Adding more and more to the blandness. They couldve done this better. But they make up in the end, when there is all the conflict.

It has imo, a great ending song. In the first season. Which I think occurs as a main theme.

It is a must see anime, no matter how much you are not a fan of either isekai, gatari or moe. I personally recommend it. (Note: you will have to bear at least the first 7 episodes. )

Story wise is an isekai world building type, the type of Overlord if you are a a fan of that, only that it was more than slightly less grim, if you think that Overlord was grim.

I found it curiously how the main character evolved and how he managed to build a small world using his special powers.

Story wise, again, it started beautifully, but the plot more or less evolved or devolved, probably because for some reasons was rushed, but still it was somehow well mantained, probably because of maybe the director of the show.... i can't really tell right now.

It is a basic isekai with a good for nothing hero which evolves in his peculiar ways, after being ridiculed for being useless, right after being transported into another world, the main character is thrown into a small plot concocted by literally everyone, which he gets away from, and with a low morale, tries to survive in that world.

I was surprised because i found the plot pleasing. The story had good conflicts, even if at the end it is dragged on and forced.

I've also noticed several types of recipes used for this isekai, but I think only as plot devices and nothing more, ... the story keeps its fragrance and originality despite those.

It's an isekai. Something you expect already: mc dies gets to a fantastical world.
It was supposed to be funny, but the humor was crude and poorly thought, besides being forced.

I think it tried to copy Gintama style comedy, while following Slayers, while following the harem recipe of Aah Megami-sama, while being isekai, but because it was, I think, rushed for some reasons, it didn't succeeded. ( good for nothing hero gets thrown into a magical world which follows basic RPG rules, the party is made of sorceresses, and here it is supposed to ... be built a story foundation for funny moments which makes its comedy, the sorceresses are overpowered, the magic it is recited, the spells are strong and flashy (Slayers style), and the plot of Megami sama, some goddess is wished to be part of the world where the main character is wished to, but the difference is that there is no amorous relationship between them. )

They tried very hard to please the fans, hence containing all sorts of "pleasing" techniques besides moe, fanservice and so on.

Also, I think that, while the seiyuus were talented, they couldn't handle the poor written story, commercial recipe style.... It was a waste of talent in my opinion.

The openings and the endings were dramatically poor.

The art style was bad and you know it very well whenever you see lack of shades, of countouring, simpler shading, and so on.

I think as an anime, it's good to watch only if you miss Slayers and want to see something new.
