You all can call me Toan or SadisticToan, I don't really care which. I've been into anime ever since I was in elementary school. I'm male, 3/4 asian 1/4 white, lover of anime, supporter of fun.

The first anime that I ever watch that I realized was anime was probably Inuyasha.

The list on my anime list so far contain mainly the T.V. shows, not the movies or OVA so the list might not be as big as most people on the sites, but make no mistake: If i watched the T.V. show version, I most likely watched all the movies and ovas that goes along with it.

The ranking on my list is like this.

some of my favorite anime so far:
great teacher onizuka (one of the closest anime to reaching a 10), Baka and test (another good one that almost made a 10, give me another season without lower the quality and it could be the first), death note (almost wouldve made a 10 but they had to continued with the anime after L. death, so it hurt the anime), code geass, yuyu hakusho (had a really great thing going, but kinda died down after the dark tournament), sword art online (yes i know their are a lot of problems with it, but I never felt bored watching it. I was always excited to see the next episode and come on, the fights were amazing.)

what anime would i recommend to people who never knew what anime was?

hmmm I would start off with death note for anyone, it a good anime that will keep you going from episode to episode. Sword art online is another great recommendation for first timers. Ouran high school host club, code geass, and future diary are for those with a specific taste. GTFO GREAT TEACHER FUCKING ONIZUKA! (It really pronounce GTO for those that never watched it before (Shame on you)).

Do I have any recommendation for you? If you have a specific genre your going for I could probably help.

What is my goal? To finish the follow anime before the year is out.
1. Stein Gate (Done)
2. Madoka Magica (Done and man do i need a good love story after that)
3. Baccano(next)
4. Clannad
5. Toradora (finish)
6. Fate Zero (I will wait for the dub to come out for this one)
7. Buy the baka and test season 1 ad 2 dvd.
8. buy a few other anime dvd.

am I for dub or sub? I usually don't mind most time, it usually depends on what I watch first. GTO, Baka and Test, and Black Lagoon should always be watched in dub!!

Video games:
yeah I'm a gamer, thought im not really into stuff like "Gears of Halo: modern black op 7" I will eventually give those games a chance. One of my favorite games series are the final fantasy and persona's. I like anything shin megami tensei really.

What are some Genre that I like?

7. Slice of life (I don't want to be reminded of life, that's the whole reason I watch anime.)(Although Bartender is a pretty good exception)

Genres that I rather not touch.
1. Yaoi
2. Yuri
3. Tragedy (I like shit with a happy ending)



How do I feel about the big three:
The big three, as most of you know, is Naruto, Bleach, and One piece. in all honesty I like all three of them very much but I don't think they're as great as all the praises they're receiving nor are they as horrible as their haters are claiming them to be. They're fun to watch but completing (or in their case, catching up) any of the big three takes a lot of effort and work. It is not something I would recommend as a gate way anime because they're just too popular. if i have to place the three in the order of which i liked them in it be something like this.
1. Naruto(won against One Piece by just a small margin)
2. One Piece (Lost by just a small margin)
3. Bleach
