This is my Top 10 Openings since MAL doesn't have a favourite openings tab, I actually don't care a lot about the video but i mostly focus on the song, so keep in mind this
I have to admit the love for the franchise and me playing Steins;Gate 0 right now are probably behind this spot but i definitely love this song and the emotions it gives me every time i hear it
Everybody love FMA and for good reasons, FMAB also has some of the best opening i ever listened to and Period is easily my favourite, i also love again but it comes close second as far as FMAB OPs go
I actually not only like SAO, but i love SAO OPs and Calibur is heavily underrated, listened thousands of times, it will never bore me
Re:Creators OST is freaking amazing and Imo the anime is heavily underrated, the second opening still gives me the chills and I listen to it every day
I loved erased during his first half, and one of the reasons was definitely the op, it had everything you'd search in an op and a certan different version was brilliant
This is definitely the choice of a song who only get my blood pumping, Kill la Kill is all about action and little plot, this OP is so fucking good and only cares about being fast, energetic and truly showing what show you're going to get into
Chillest music ever written, i loved this arc and this OP is perfect, every time i see tsubasa sleeping like that i just want to join her too
I have little to say about this one, i just adore it, a blast to listen and introduces perfectly the world of code geass
SASAGEYO SASAGEYO, SHINZOU WO SASAGEYO, I love this OP, I've watched SnK season 2 with my friends and they didn't manage to stop me from singing this song every new episode, it's glorious
I must say the fuuka anime is not great, not bad either but at the same time has an amazing opening and i can finally give sounds to the name Climber's High, I loved the manga and I hate the later songs will probably be never recorded
Now, i've thought a lot about doing a list of my favourites endings because I don't know exactly why but most endings I actually don't care too much compared to the openings, I almost never skip an opening to an episode but I actually do it a lot with endings simply because they don't catch my interest and it probably has to do with the slower pace of endings.
With all this being said I still have some rare but notable endings i like a lot or even loved so i present to you my Top 10 Endings
Yes, Steins;Gate is so good it gets both my first spot for opening and ending, the ending in particular fits so fucking well with episodes like episode number 9 creating some of the best moments in anime ever
There's probably something about white fox and endings but i love so much Re:Zero's first opening i was actually sad they changed it, the second one is not bad but compared to my second favourite ending i've heard ever, well, it doesn't hold up, I can listen to it on yt whenever i want at least
2017 is the year I will probably remember as the year of JoJo, I've finally decided to start watching it and It is glorious, Diamond is Unbreakable is definitely the best series and easily has the best ending, at the same time I need to say that Roundabout won't be on this list because I prefer I Want You but could have easily fit in my top 10
Fun fact, I haven't even watched Gintama, i've read around 100 chapters of the manga and never gave the anime a shot cause it's just too long and I have no will to start now but back when I was playing a lot of Osu i stumbled upon this song and oh my god I love it
Psycho pass is one of those rare cases of me liking its ending much more than its opening and I can also say the same about the sequel with its ending almost making a cut for this list but spoilers, it won't. While I haven't seen gintama at all, I can at least say I watched the majority of naruto before just finishing reading the manga and calling it a day.
With filler after filler after filler i stopped caring about the anime but this ED is and will always be my favourite
I love the monogatari franchise, Bakemonogatari was the perfect introduction to this series and oh my god this ending, the 12th episode makes you see this already amazing ending in another light and gives to one of the best ending scenes in anime
While I was making this list I knew already this had to be somewhere in here, while I couldn't listen to Period even when an episode was ending this was the best replacement they could ever get, even better than some FMAB OPs it instantly got in my favourite list
Anohana is an interesting case, while I think it was a short but intense series, i hate that it was SOOOOOOOO short, if it only had some more time to develop it could have probably become one of my favourite series but it's not, and especially compared to Clannad.
But, for what is worth, it's ending song is much better than any Clannad had, and it's not like they're bad, but they only work if you've watched the series already while I think the anohana's ED captures the essence of ano hana by itself already even for people who never even watched the series in the first place
What? Occultic nine? This is probably the least talked series here but besides actually liking the series quite a lot, its ED is lovely and if Re:Zero didn't also came in 2016 it would easily be my favourite ending of that year
