Dororo (Anime) add (All reviews)
As we're already halfway through the series, I have a strong feeling this is going to be epic. So far, everything is going from good to better. There is no filler episode, no passing or useless characters, no lack of action or excitement. Every single episode has been a masterpiece, leaving waves of emotions behind and answering our questions one by one.

There are so many things I love about this anime. You can never predict what is going to happen next. The plot showed us so far that not everything has a happy ending, that life in this period was hell for the poor and read more

High expectations and a huge disappointment...

Story: 3
By the end of the series I think I finally got the story, which is in fact not a good one. This Red Dragon destroyed Nil Kamui, a small country which is now invaded by Kouran and D'natia, the neighbour countries. Ibuki, the MC, holds Red Dragon's power: every time he kills one of his friends, he gains great power. Now, you see, this idea is pretty shitty because:
1. It creates pointless drama
2. It predicts the death of the other characters
3. At some point, it becomes annoying because you see the same thing happening over and over again.

Just finished Mahou Sensou. First thing that came into my mind: dafuq did I just watch? Was it a poor a-lot-much-shorter version of Bleach or what?

Story: 6
The thing is, Mahou Sensou doesn't really have a storyline. In the first episode, main character, Nanase Takeshi, is accidentally turned into a magician by a girl named Aiba Mui, who had come from another world. Of course, his girlfriend, which is not actually his girlfriend and his friend are also accidentally turn into magicians. Then Takeshi decides to live in this world of magicians and learn how to use magic and then some romantic dramas appear, and then read more

Oh well, long time no review! It's been a while since I last wrote a review but I guess I'm back in business.

If you plan to watch F/SN UBW, I assume you've already watched F/SN and know what this is all about. However, if you haven't, I recommend that you watch it first. After that, you have to watch Fate/Zero because it explains some things left in the shadow in F/SN and of course because it's 10 times better that its sequel. Oh, and if you didn't already know, UBW it's not a sequel to any of the series. It's just an alternative route of read more

*May contain a few spoilers and sarcasm*

From the very first episode I knew SIW had the potential to become a very good anime, so I kept saying "Please don't disappoint me" until the last episode. Fortunately, it helped.

Story: 9
This strange combination between Mahou shoujo madoka magica and Yu-gi-oh! was a really good one but could have been better. The plot is focused on Ruuko, a standard teenage girl with no friends, who lives with her grandma and brother. One day her brother introduces her to WIXOSS, a card game where you have to battle other selectors and LRIGs to become an Eternal Girl and have read more

Tasogare otome x Amnesia is a complex and unusual anime that doesn't really fit the well-known pattern of ghost stories. But still... Ghost of a girl [checked], haunted school [checked], scary moments [checked]...Then why is this anime different?

Story: 9
The story is about Yuuko, a girl who died 60 years ago but whose ghost still haunts the hallways of Seikyou Academy. The only uncommon thing about this ghost is that it's not an ugly faceless bleeding monster, but a sexy and funny girl who takes mackery to a whole new level. Teiichi, Kirie and Momoe are the three members of the Paranormal Investigation Club who try read more

I've seen plenty of survival game anime and watching another one didn't really impress me, but somehow, Higashi no eden had a different feeling. The whole kill or be killed thing wasn't the main ideea of the series. It was something much deeper: the feeling you have power but don't use it for yourself, on the contrary, to help others. That's pretty much why I find this anime quite original in many points of view.

Story: 9
Beginning with the story, like I said it's not a very inspired one. Main character Takizawa Akira finds himself naked in the middle of Washington with no memories where he read more

*This may contain a few spoilers*

At first I thought Kore wa zombie desu ka? was going to be one of those fantasy-comedy anime without an actual storyline and with lots of boring episodes. Fortunately, it was much better than I thought.

Story: 6
I was very surprised that this had a plot. It really did. The story focuses on a high school boy, Ayumu, who is both a zombie and a Magiclad Girl (Yeah, I know, kinda weird) and his supernatural friends, Eu, Haruna and Sera who fight against all kind of creatures. This might seem a little mediocre and it is because as the show goes read more

Free! (Anime) add (All reviews)
Given the fact that I'm not really into school/slice of life anime, Free! turned out be one of the best anime of this kind I've ever watched.

Story: 9
The story is just awesome. The plot has many twists, but what I really really like is that the past is strongly connected to the present. The 4 main characters: Haruka, Rin, Nagisa and Makoto (excluding Rei) are childhood friends who share the same passion: swimming. Life had a funny way of gathering them, tearing them apart and then gathering them back together. I will say more about the characters when I get to that point. Although read more

Pupa (Anime) add (All reviews)
I really hate making reviews in which I'm criticizing so bad an anime but Pupa is just the worst anime I've ever watched so I had to make a review.

Starting with the story... Wait, what story? I mean, yeah, the plot exists, but what can be expected from a 4 minute episode where the opening and the ending represent half of the time? Nothing. The action is so rushed that you barely understand a thing, especially when there are also flashbacks. I didn't read the manga (although I was recommended to) so I had no idea what this anime was about, and after I finished read more
