You can send any Definitions for the term chtonically online and it will not change the fact that you went out of your way to go to a guy who disliked a show you liked and went off on him. That's not curiosity as you described it. You definitely got annoyed. You questioning OPs morality is for sure a step towards what I called you.
But water under the Bridge. This all really ain't that deep as all this is is just a dispute about an opinion on some random TV Show. No need to continue this any further (at least for my insertion into this convo). Your catalogue looks pretty neat too so imma accept the friend request 👍

Well I think that's two of us making assumptions then: you assuming I watch crap anime that I "don't like"... that's the thing- it's not at all that I didn't like these shows. I simply enjoy making fun of them and going a little over the top, because a lot of other reviews I've read over the years (well on ANN used to) do the same and I found it entertaining. Maybe it's to serve as a *warning to someone else. Also, I don't think I'm being as mean about the shows as you're saying. I basically have mixed feelings- and with Eminence in Shadow the 3rd ended with a cliff hanger so I probably will check 4 out just because I'm curious. But the whole thing with crowbars and "I wanna get stronger" really felt like kind of a joke, so I jokingly made fun of it. I actually don't hate any of the shows I watched. I did have a strong reaction to MIA S2, but again the purpose of my review is to warn off people who might have emotional issues about watching something with so much gore and even sexual assault. Mostly I just like to write about stuff, good or bad.

Why do people bother making negative comments online.. is it supposed to deter me or something? Have you seriously never read a negative review before? Are you unable to understand humor, you know- jokes, or different writing styles? Like how one person articulates their distaste vs another. "Morally wrong" ? I mean, in a way- your review of my review is also a negative review. And you had not 40- but millions to read, many of which are way more scathing than my language, and you chose to dump on mine. And I have only been on the site for a week. You may have noticed my review on the Rakugo show is actually more middle-ground, as I'm hoping it does something special with its theme. I actually just wanted to practice writing and have fun dumping on bad anime and praising the good ones (and nobody is gonna read a review of something from 22 years ago) so I'm doing current stuff. I haven't yet gotten my account fixed at CR so I can watch Uzaki-chan, which I loved a few years ago. Anyway I doubt you read this far, keep your pecker up ^_^

basically yesterday i went off the rails with the most dumb review of summertime render and i wrote a 1000 word essay on why the review was invalid in the person's comments. and well.. then i read their comments and you were among the more sensible comments but i wasnt sure if you were for or against so i just asked.

idk i was more motivated to write that essay than study for finals :P

asking simply because i was unsure if you were meaninglessly hating on it with just 5/24 episodes out, and if you were i was trying to understand.

i personnaly like it so i am biased which is why i'm lightly looking at differing opinions. maybe its bad and i dont know it because i liked the manga you know! but nonetheless, thank you for your answer, i hope to see you in the comments of discussion of episode 6
