10 - Best of it's genre, does something thematically and stylistically distinct/unique or personal favorites
9 - Objectively fantastic anime, has artistic value, extra points if it made me cry
8 - Great anime, irresistibly enjoyable
7 - Solid anime, can't go wrong, but just feels like it's missing something
