I had high hopes for this anime. The first episode I thought provided the grasp of the show. Whatever happened in the beginning should have happened at the end. It started off fast-paced, then slowed down drastically. There was very little to no character development (especially at the end and the fact that the girl had trouble with decision making for once), and even most of the designs were average looking.
A person cannot love someone instantly from one interaction or it does not mean he or she is in love because someone gives him or her more attention than anyone

Now as my first review, this is an anime normally people will only hate or love. I do understand the hate towards the show because of the slow-paced and particular art style etc..
Reasons why I love this series: SPOILER WARNING -soundtrack/music is awesome and sets the mood -the mixture of the genres: comedy, adventure, action, and drama etc.. is well blended in the show -the main character has a vast amount of tolerance and patience for his crew, very strong mentally and physically, an intellect (despite reckless moments), and overall just a unique, original personality that I can see along with traits a mc should include -the side ... |
