Hello there!
I started Jojo, but somehow I couldn't get into the storyline, it's so forced, at least those first few episodes. Not being ino any characters also doesn't help I suppose. Just finished the second season of One Punch man som days ago, what do yo think of that title? I'm planning on checking the manga once I finish Blame! which is being a blast, fantastic artwork.

Hope all's well on your side, cheers!

Congrats for the good taste.
I've been meaning to start the new Jojo franchise anytime soon and judging by your rating I'd say you recommend it too.
Can I ask why you haven't rated some titles on your list?

Have a good day.

Yea, it seems like I'm the avatar of Good Taste, one of the lesser forerunners of Kalki the avenger, as foretold in certain obscure translations of the Mahabarata. If you see something bad in my list, just assume it's some esoteric irony.

Of course! Thank you for the friend request!

Oh that kicks ass! female vokills fucking rule!

Here is one I found recently:

Joel Grind of Tiger Junkies/Toxic Holocaut remastered a ton of female vocals from the 80s and put them up online: and this one

I'm dandy as an apple! Just competing in judo! Here is the trailer intro I made:

Hell yeah that kicks ass! Metal and 80s thrash goes great. Speaking of which, I’ve got something very similar I made, I will link it later. How have you been?

If worse comes to worse you could always watch it on a shitty streaming website, I remember watching it on YouTube awhile back, don't know if it's still there.

Thanks, always nice to see another old school enthusiast, you should watch Gunnm right away

Yeah MD Geist is total 80's cheese haha. Yes the soundtrack RULES. Here's another song I like from it.

I have a boxset of 3 of Koichi Ohta's famous 80's anime, and it has MD Geist 1 and 2, Genocyber, and Cybernetics Guardian. It comes with the soundtrack for MD Geist and Genocyber. Cybernetics Guardian didn't get a soundtrack because the music was all from a Japanese hair metal band called Trash Gang and by god is it the sickest shit ever! I fucking love it! Haha yeah Yasuyuki is hilarious. I have Gero their guitarist on Facebook and when he liked a picture of my battle jacket, I almost fangirl'd to death haha.

Yeah Vietnam is still communist, or rather a special sort of Communism geared towards the Vietnam people or "Ho Chi Minh Thought". A lot of Vietnamese in America hate the communists, and from what I gather people currently living in Vietnam don't like how the West runs their government but are still very welcoming to Americans and Europeans. I don't care enough to get mixed into government politics, I'm welcoming to see how things are like once I get there.

Yeah Nine Treasures is amazing, they're based in Northern China (that is technically Mongolia).

Yeah I've got some Italian friends that say I must visit lol.

I'd like to see former Soviet-bloc countries as well, maybe Ukraine too.

I'm really prone towards Asia though lol, haven't really cared too much about Central and South America or Canada. Asia touring is like my #1 destination, although I actually want to live in Vietnam for awhile (after my initial visit of course) to see what life is like.

Vietnam is beautiful and I love the food. I'm learning Vietnamese right now with duolingo.

Mongolia is awesome too. Listening to Tennger Calvary and Nine Treasures really got me into it, and movies.

Austria is neat, I'd like to see Germany and Italy one day.

I've never left America before... or my state (Texas) for that matter... it sucks. No time and no money. But hopefully next year I'll have enough. I live in an expensive city.

man I wish I could go to japan (and vietnam and china and taiwan and hong kong) T_T maybe next year if ive got enough saved up and time off from work....

Thank you! This is nowhere near the amount of anime I've seen. The manga section is pretty accurate since I haven't read as many mangas.

Yeah I don't know much about Western cyberpunk besides video games (Deus Ex, System Shock, Daikatana, Judge Dredd) but I've seen the matrix and hackers. Hackers was a lot of fun lol. Fifth Element is great too, I remember loving the song at the end.

Still need to watch Votoms... i see it all the time in used book stores DVD section.

Gundam is so huge, my friend is still working through it... seems very daunting but maybe one day haha.

MD Geist is great, I'm proud to own the America manga/comic that was released along side it's US release.

Jin-Roh looks cool, havent seen steamboy and robotech. ill put those on my to-do list.

I think 80's cyberpunk is some of the best. 2 of the best aesthetics combined. also have you seen Cyber City Odeo?
ShootGunner Nov 24, 2016 8:43 AM
I haven't seen those 3 either, they're on my to do list though. I was just curious if you knew anymore. There used to be a cyberpunk anime review site out there but it looks like it's dead now :(

Yeah Black Magic M-66 and AD Police (the first OVA, not the second) are some of my favorite 80's cyberpunk. And I still need to see Megazone 23!

Ahh Riki-Oh! I haven't seen the anime yet but I have seen the Hong Kong live action version of it. It was gnarly as fuck! Loved it.
