Hey, actually, I see our old conversation from several years back, seemed we were talking about Princess Tutu among other things, always good.

Sorry that your thread got locked! I don't really agree with the thread rules here in MAL (some listing threads would be very very interesting if they could be created) and it saves you the time from looking through 1 billion profiles. Also, a lot of people don't have their #1 favorite anime listed on their profile, its usually multiple and you can't tell which one they like the most!!!

Well anyways, my favorites are Full Metal Alchemist and Code Geass (the two series I gave 10's to). Those are very highly recommended, although I'm not exactly sure if you will like the genres of them (you have a number of shojo anime, genre I'm not very familiar with). I did watch Clannad, Rumbling Hearts, and Tonari no Kaibustu Kun for Shojo anime ( I recommend Clannad, Tonari is just sort of okay, Rumbling hearts is okay).

Hmm, that's a tough request for me, Princess Tutu isn't a genre I usually go for after all. I can probably fulfill the other part of the request, but it might not be shojo.

I really enjoyed Simoun though, which I appear to have mentioned before.
Kino's Journey is a fantastic series, similar to Mushishi in that it likes to ask questions, but leave them to the audience to ask themselves.
Toward the Terra, I gotta admit I love scifi! This is a scifi shojo though, a rare combo that pretty much always tastes good. The TV tastes much better than the movie though.
RahXephon is something I needed to see twice to get all the story, but I really liked it :3

You really outta try out manga, I think I could come up with some better answers there!
Twin Spica is simple amazing coming of age. It has an anime, but it only goes maybe 7 volumes in at most. The only problem is that there are no full scans anywhere for the manga. The physical volumes are out of print, but they are being re-released digitally if you're up for that.
Hikaru no Go is another excellent series! The anime goes up to around volume 16 I think, you could switch over to the manga after that.
Flower of Life, really anything by Fumi Yoshinaga, is pretty well amazing. Antique Bakery has an anime (though I've only seen one ep of it), none of her other works do. Flower of Life only has scans for the first 3 vols, last I checked, but it's still so worth just reading those three alone.
NG Life is a great romantic comedy, a genre I'm quite picky on. It's 9 volumes, so not too long, and has no anime, not a bad idea for a first manga. Especially since there's not even a partial adaptation out there. And this has full scans for it

Hello again, what's up?

Be sure to let me know if you liked it or if it disappointed you.

#1 favorite character, :) He's definitely a character I've came to enjoy and relate to. His english dub sold the show for me. I don't think I've ever laughed as hard because of one character
Cigarette Mar 12, 2013 1:59 PM
Don't mention it. It'll definitely change though. Harima will definitely be your 1 & only.
Cigarette Mar 12, 2013 10:53 AM
Managed to catch your reply in your badboy thread, but haven't gotten the time to respond. Anyways, if you plan on watching it soon, I'd definitely recommend the dubbed version. Just don't fall in love with the MC.

You kidding? Plot the most important part of anime for me (except in series where it's not really supposed to have one, like slice of life, in which case characters are more important). Simoun has plenty of plot and characters, it just happens that because everyone is born female that there is some rampant lesbianism happened (why they need to kiss in order to power their machines is freakin' weird and never explained, but at least the fanservice didn't get in the way of the plot/characters, right?) Yeah, despite the strange "kiss to power flying machines" thing, there's actually not much pointless fanservice beyond that. Definitely do consider checking it out, nothing ruins an anime for me faster than fanservice these days, but it's not much more than seeing any real life homosexual couple kiss in public, so I can handle that. It's hard not to bring it up though, not many anime have flying machines powered by lesbian kisses....

Thats not a very good habit xD A lot of great anime is longer than 24 episodes, as well.
Most anime nowadays and even several years ago have romance. Its hard finding an anime without romance. It's disappointing.
KawaiiSlowpoke Mar 11, 2013 3:27 PM
Is there any anime your watching?
When I first joined I only had a few on my ptw, but then i started to find so much other anime that I wanted to watch and everytime I find somethingthat I do want to watch, I just add it to ptw xD

Bad habit since now my ptw is at 140
KawaiiSlowpoke Mar 11, 2013 3:18 PM
Well that's lame of them o:

Well that's good that everyone has been nice c:
Its not hard to make friends on here, but it is easy to make enemies. Haha
KawaiiSlowpoke Mar 9, 2013 8:52 PM
Well you're a year older than I am, haha.
However I do like MAL because you can talk to so many people who enjoy anime.
Sure, I have a few friends who enjoy anime as well but they don't watch it as much as I do, haha.

How are you liking MAl so far?
KawaiiSlowpoke Mar 9, 2013 8:15 PM
Welcome to MAL c: Its nice to have a younger female on this sight~
I still find it shocking that so many older guys like anime :P
