I might be a bit careless in relation to spoilers.
Before reading novel series I had watched anime, two times. Basically, first volumes brought me almost nothing new. By the way, if somehow you haven't yet watched anime, I'd recommend you to start off with it first. Kyoani made an excellent job on it.
The story opens with a main character's monologue. Thoughts of Kyon which will guide you through all the chaotic mess awaiting you. So, one perfect day Kyon happened to think about talking to a certain girl... From this and now on, his life would never be the same. All the supernatural stuff

It is done in such an engaging way. Supernatural stuff with a slice of life flavor. Or vice versa. What I really find great, it has a touch of sci-fi in it. Almost everything bizarre that happens doesn't remain unexplained. What's even more cool, there are several theories upon what is happening and it's up to reader to choose what to believe. The author is very good at leaving here and there tiny hints, which may provoke in you a huge line of thought or may not. Honestly, you may just leave it be and regard the whole series as a comedy.
You may refer to Kyon as being a link between SOS Brigade and readers. Story is told from his perspective. Basically, he's a narrator. I like this part. Slowly, you grow to understand and even befriend him. I mean, how couldn't you, if you're always inside his head. Sometimes even thinking about what he's thinking. If I were to describe him, first thing popping up in mind - nice guy, considerably smart. Still, it's a poor description, because there's something more to him. Or I just imagine things. Generally, I'm okay with the way Kyon is. I believe there's only one cliche problem with him. He doesn't get girls' hints. Well, otherwise there wouldn't be such an intrigue the whole series.
The series is built upon various interactions between characters. Every character is cool in his/her own way. Even though there're some cliche characters... they are cliche only on the first glance. Or not. Or cliche partially. However, I adore all of them. I won't be pretty much wrong calling Haruhi almost literally the Sun. Well, everything reloves around her in the series. And Haruhi is the type of character which will force you to like her or hate her. You can't possibly remain indifferent. As for me, I loved her. She's so damn simple and in the same way hard to follow. She always has some reasons for her actions. She's a weirdo but a smart one.
I think it'd be possible to create a separate story with every character of SOS Brigade on their own. Haruhi series went further than that, deciding to create a spicy mix. Mikuru, Yuki, Koizumi - all of them offer various perspective and feel to the story. New characters pop up rarely in the story. I grew so attached to SOS Brigade, that I even felt sceptic upon their appearance. Magically, they were another bunch of non-less cool characters. So, the chance of getting annoyed or bored with characters is low. Don't forget to check out 'Rainy Day' once you've finished series.
The setting is done in such a way that almost anything could happen. I can't help myself to praise time-traveling aspect of the story. It is not present in the story just for for sake of being present. It is a thick and good elaborated part. It simply beats roughly half of all time-traveling stories. Or even more. I can't say that for sure, it's just the feeling I got.
Can't say much about art, I mean illustrations. They are few. With every volume the quality of illustrations was better.
I really miss the series. Afterword of the last volume doesn't bring lots of hope. I just really hope Nagaru Tanigawa will get a grip of himself and will eventually resume writing. There's a lot more to tell.
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya brought me a lot thoughts, sincere joy and many other emotions. It is extremely unboring and enjoyful. I could talk and talk more about it, but what's the point? Go just read it.
Please, Nagaru Tanigawa make a comeback. We are waiting.

Nisemonogatari.
Bakemonogatari ended on some pleasant note. I was really willing to know more about what was gonna happen next. So... what do we have from Nisemonogatari.
Basically, happened what I had feared. It's become more haremish. If we were to cut the fanservice part, it would remain like 1\3. I think it's gone a bit too far. Furthermore, it reminds of a harem even more. Now, when Araragi's sisters so much involved. And now, when Araragi flirts with them throughout the whole show.
The plot itself here is rather simple, almost nothing significant happens, besides we get to know new characters. Also, Shinobu. She

begins to transform from the furniture into a remnant of the legendary vampire who at long last finds herself quite bored.
Araragi wasn't that much consistent with his words from the very beginning but here, he feels even more inconsistent. That refers to his actions as well. I don't know, for me he felt more, like, noble in previous shows.
Another characters feel slightly different as well. Though, I'm all right with it because it may count for their developments. In case with Koyomi it's more like a degradation rather than a development.
Visually it's just great as always. I'm almost got used to it. However, it often manages to satisfy my eye with new undiscovered ways. It is odd. It is good. Even though, monogatari series concentrates on dialogues, it doesn't prevent it to have ridiculously good fighting scenes. Nisemonogatari isn't an exception.
Same applies to the sound. OP-s and ED-s are great. My personal favourite is the third OP with Tsukihi.
At least, these two aspects don't upset me.
As a conclusion, I might say I don't like the turn monogatari series took. I'm sure it can offer much more, something more valuable than just sisters' fanservice.
I just hope the next show in the series will refrain from it.
If you're alike me watching monogatari series the show after the show I guess there's no point in skipping this one, yet... well, see it and have your own judgment.

For the clarity, before Bakemonogatari I had watched Kizumonogatari and Nekomonogatari.
Spring break along with Golden weak ended. Time for the new school term to begin. As it was said approximately in Kizumonogatari: "Once you've met an aberration, there's high chance to meet another one". Furthermore, Araragi is himself an aberration. So, it happens. Aberrations come one after another hardly giving Araragi an opportunity to rest.
Unexpectedly enough, they are all girls.
The whole show can be divided into several parts. It's easy to define. Because, depending on the arc, there're different op-s. Each part tells about different aberration. Araragi just can't help himself but
...
to help people.
Each part has its own philosophy and story. A story about an aberration and a story about a character. Mystic, mystic and more mystic. It managed to create a certain amount of suspense to keep me engaged and interested.
From another point of view, it resembles quite much a harem story. But you would be wrong to call it a dull harem story. It doesn't follow usual tropes but well, quite familiar with them. I mean, there are only two male characters in this show and one of them is the old man. It comes to Araragi to have all possible girls' attention.
Girls which are many. To every possible taste, I'd say. Araragi is quite a lucky bastard to have not only two sisters babysitting him but also a bunch of cute girls.
Fanservice in large amounts. Besides, fanservice of different types. Bakemonogatari knows for sure how to entertain a viewer. Camera angles, words, facial expressions, everything is used. I'm not a great fan of fanservice at all. But here, it's done very stylishly and beautiful in some way. Nonetheless, I think it's overused in some places. That would be up to you to consider. I just hope monogatari series won't become more haremish than Bakemonogatari now.
Ararararagi. Oh, sorry, I stammered. Everytime he tries his best to solve the problem. From this aspect, Araragi hardly differs from another average main character. He's kind. That's his main characteristic.
You would hear his monologues throughout all show. Personally, I like this technique of storytelling via outlooks of a main character. I should admit, almost all his monologues are rather complicated and may lead astray because sometimes he changes his mind unexpectedly.
Visually it's one of the most "tasty" to my eye shows I've encountered. Here and there I rewinded scenes backwards to watch them again.
Stylish is the very word to describe it.
OP-s are awesome. Every op is unique and dedicated to a certain character. They feel very different. Almost like openings of different shows. It's a clever decision to make openings like that. I watched almost every ep without skipping 'em.
Oh, also that is the only show I was compelled to press spacebar dozens of times to read what the heck the show wanted to tell me. :). Odd experience.
To sum it up, I quite enjoyed it. Well, maybe less than Kizumonogatari because Bakemonogatari turned out to be a more... rather less grim and more prominent with comedy elements. It reminded me a bit about The World God Only Knows. Just a trifle a bit.
That's it. I'd recommend it to only people who are resistant to fanservice of a certain degree and who are into odd-stories with odd-characters.

Here I'm gonna conclude impression of watching II and III movies altogether.
It's been quite an unique experience it terms of anime. I've just started my journey towards monogatari series with Kizumonogatari.
So, speaking of which... The story evolves quite fast bringing the desire of Araragi Koyomi to return his humanity more close. Not so surely, but steadily he clashes in few battles with vampire hunters. At long last, the battles are over. Somehow he managed to defeat them all. He did bring all limps to its owner. That's what 2nd movie tells about. But what's the outcome? 3rd movie tells. For sure, it has

nothing in common with usual vampire stories.
The way of telling story here is quite complex. We get to know many things visually comprehending scenes. Some scenes couldn't be conveyed better using another forms, I think.
Taking into account unusual editing and composing it creates some odd aura. However, it's not bad. It drags you in and lets you get drowned in it.
Animation is top-notch, fight scenes are ones which will satisfy even quite demanding eye. However, maybe not all will consider some techniques as something good. 3D is used here and there. It didn't bother me at all. Once again, it worked beautifully to create even more odd aura.
Facial expressions deserve another special praise. They're just very good.
Couldn't Araragi scream a bit less? Possibly? Honestly speaking, if something were irritating me, then it's only his squeaking screams. I know, though, he didn't scream for nothing, still...
OST-s are okay here. Even good. I took a special liking to the ending song.
Yup, I enjoyed it. Odd enjoyment. Odd impressions. I'm really looking forward for what the series can offer after watching these 3 films. I have my hopes up.
I don't know whether my decision to start watching monogatari series was quite right the way I started. Nevertheless, I'd recommend watching Kizumonogatari to everyone who are into mystic stuff and who are, perhaps, bored of dull vampire stories.

Tsuki ga Kirei.
Just looking at the poster, I could imagine what it presumably will be like. It turned to be almost like I thought. And that's good.
I've braced myself to have an emotional trip. Surely, it was a pleasant one.
Well, there's a boy who likes a certain girl. She likes him in return. Can you guess what happens next? (on a condition it's not a hentai :) )
It's nervous to both of them. The show makes a good job of revealing their inner feelings and thoughts. I mean, they're so real. I could easily sympathy with both of them, remembering my

own feelings... Their feelings are so poor, they make me envious. We'll have to watch the beginning of their relationships and further development. Besides them, there are another characters but they play little significance, but still they play their roles. Family, friends.
Also, be sure to not skips the anime after ending. It has some hilarious mini-scenes after that.
Art's style has got warm vibes coming from it. I've became so much fond of it. It makes a perfect match to the story. As well as the sound. Just nothing here to be complaining about. I like it.
Characters are greatly executed. They are... how do I put it, very Japanese. It remained me of Flying Witch. They are shy, they are polite, they keep distance from each other and respect personal space.
Even though, most of them are middle-schoolers. Every character here has its own "depth". This anime manages to show their way of living and thinking. It's interesting to observe them.
Also, it's one of the several anime which uses texting as a part of everyday life. In a good way, moreover. Haven't you remembered yourself while watching how they fill up with a joy from a single message? :)
I did enjoy it. It's sincere and heart-warming.
I'd recommend it to anyone who seeks for a relaxing romance story.

My first thoughts were: "Oh, seems like someone is short of ideas how to name shows".
The story takes us to a magic world filled with witches... and beastfallen. Okay, from the very beginning it doesn't proclaims itself as something totally new. The setting is meh. The show manages to convey world's history in a poor way. How many times did you see a world with witches (magicians, special ability users, ninjas, gamers, hamsters) and those who hunt them? One way or another... I've encountered it myself dozens times. Overused troops are present here in quite a number. I had a vague sensation of secondariness

in everything.
It begins with an union of the beast and the girl. I have to admit this part is quite cute and pleasant to observe. The anime should have concentrate on a relationship of Mercenary and Zero more on my opinion. I think everything else was unwanted. Every time the anime would turn to some action part or to some other storylines, I'd found myself rather bored. It would turn out even more interesting if it were a slice of life anime within a fantasy world. Unfortunately, it's not. Honestly, sometimes I had to endure watching it. Reaching the end, it becomes more and more dull.
Visual part is just okay... But again, fight scenes are just not good. It wasn't properly explained in the show how they use magic. I often questioned myself what are those circles and stripes around them when they cast powerful spells, for example. Why they change colors etc.
I don't like they way they were drawn. It's unsystematic.
On the other hand ordinary scenes are quite decent.
I liked the op and the ed. I can't say anything more about OST-s probably because they were quite ordinary to remember them.
Voices of Zero and Mercenary make a good match to their characters. Dialogue parts between them were truly good.
Personally, I'm prone to like characters which interact with each other like the beast and the witch did. That's cocky and nice.
However... there were another useless characters to my greatest pity. Albus is way too commonplace type of character. Furthermore, it's the type which annoys me.
The antagonist here made me even more irritated. I can't even find proper words to express my "facepalmness' of him. It's not like I had some hopes for him. But I didn't expect him to turn out "a villain because of circumstances with good intentions" type. Stupid.
Don't you dare to complain it to Spice and Wolf. I'm a bit surprised there are people who compare them. It's on completely different levels.
As a conclusion, I can say Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho sure had some potential. But it decided to choose a path of mediocre anime which is to be watched and to be forgotten.

Third season of the show about bicycles and bicycling.
This one brings many new things. Are they good? Time to think about it.
First, third years leave highschool, therefore they leave bicycle's club. There won't be anymore several characters which we were so accustomed to in previous seasons. Personally, I missed "I am strong" thing of Hakone's ace.
Sure, it's sad. But, life continues on. The next Interhigh gonna come soon. Time to prepare for Hakone's revenge. And that's what they do. But not only them. Kyoto Fushimi and Hakone hone their skills too. Without a spare second to waste.
The season covers a part

of their training for the Interhigh and a part of the first day. No doubt, sequels should appear soon.
There's no reason to be worried about the quality. It's just the same as it was. It's not perfect, yes. But it does its part. And does it excellent. Some scenes are very good, mark my words.
Furthermore, you're gonna to listen to the new OP of HimeHime! Doesn't that make you go to watch Yowamushi Pedal right now? Does it? Begone right now and listen to it. Everyone knows that bicycles' thing is just dust in the eyes. Little magic girl - that's the thing we waited for. :).
More new characters roll in. And they are good characters, I have to admit. Peculiar and interesting in their own way. Also, this season makes a good job on revealing old characters. We see them training, changing, becoming stronger. I like this part of Yowamushi pedal the most. No one stands still doing nothing. Everyone wants to achieve something, everyone has a pride to keep on. To keep on doing things they decide to do.
I think this variety of characters makes it possible to find the character with whom a viewer could sympathy with. In my case, I found this one. I very much liked watching the growth of Teshima. Literally, I couldn't help but to cheer up for him.
The season gives a bit another feeling. However, it turns to be not bad. Still, the same atmosphere remains here. Still, there's Onoda who's capable of doing miracles by his sheer power of will. Still, there's Sohoku which supports each other. Still, there's Hakone which is unstoppable. Still Midousuji... So, you've got the gist.
If you had liked previous seasons there's 85% you would like this one as well.
Maybe you won't because, to be honest, it starts to be a little self-repetitive. At any rate, the show has everything to make me watch it and wait for more sequels to come.
To underline everything I've just written... Yowamushi Pedal is like a little push on your back which tells you to think about your aims in life. About what you've got to do to achieve something. Maybe, it's only my case.
Watching Sohoku's ride makes me a bit envy, you know. It's inspirational.

I know. Every character of this show.
Sakurada city. The city which is full of people with special abilities. Kinda mediocre premise, right? Right. Though, it's far off from being something like a mediocre shounen but that doesn't cancel a mediocreness of the show.
I've watched 12 episodes. There were a lot of info. What I've got from it? Some pretentious pseudo philosophical phrases. Lots of meaningless dialogues which made me think about one thing: please, someone teach them how to communicate. One robot talking to another.

potential but it's not capable to pull it off. It just trips every time it tries.
Honestly, I dislike shows which take a responsibility to realize some hard concepts with a poor directing. Sakurada Reset consists of such concepts. Does it manage to convey them in a decent way? I have my doubts.
The art is just okay. It creates a feeling of a "cheap" one though. But I reckon it may be because there's nothing to animate here. Dull robots talking with another dull robots. From time to time they walk and talk. Or sit and talk. It's a bit an exaggeration but that's how I felt it sometimes.
I did like the op and the ed. They were pleasant surprises to my ear.
Speaking about actors' voices... Once again, robots. And that's not their guilt. They voiced characters which they had to. Robots. Nonetheless, I liked "resetto" word. It's cute. If I were to hear it more frequently, maybe I wouldn't drop this show...(just kidding).
The major mistake about characters is that there's no emotional character enough who would put the show in a right direction. What I mean is... try to imagine the anime in which were only Kyons. There's no Haruhi Suzumiya (quite ironic, main girl of Sakurada Reset is named Haruhi as well) to solve this problem.
To some degree I enjoyed watching this show. But that's not enough to make me watch another 12 episodes. That would be a routine.
I'd not recommend watching it. Though, I don't exclude the fact you might find something I didn't manage to find.

Hm... It made me quite uncertain.
The story involves many details which are just partly conveyed. It does tell only a small part of the world's history which seems to be interesting though. It's like going to and fro without hitting the center. I've just finished watching and still my head is full of unanswered questions. It there would be a continuation...
However, the anime have a different purpose rather than telling a viewer about the world. I'd call it an emotional trip. And quite merciless one. It gives us just enough time to get a sympathy to characters and then comes a time for
...
a whole bunch of drama and tragedy events. I have to admit the show is well directed, so those "seams" between ordinary casual events and action-packed drama ones are not so notable. I mean, in general it's quite smooth, maybe just a little bit edgy around the corners.
If you're into emotion-driven story, you might like this one. From the very opening seconds of the show you would know what to expect.
Animation is simply great. And deserves praise in every aspect. Fighting scenes are delicious, even everyday scenes are pleasant to watch. Every girl character is extremely cute. Also, the way they express their emotions is very expressive. Few scenes are great solely because there're no words in them. Only glances, blushings.
I liked the op. Another OST-s are nice to listen to. I want to highlight the ones in the end. Gosh, they were awesome. In combination with visual part it gave me some shivers. They did very good job creating a proper mood.
Moe, more moe! What can be said more about characters? I'd not say there are some unique ones here. Or even interesting ones. At any rate, you'll sympathy with them, believe me. Maybe, exactly because they're so simple and straightforward. Hm, I wanna make an excuse about interesting characters... Probably, Willem is quite interesting thanks to his backstory. But did we get a lot intel about it? No. Beats me. Not taking into account his backstory, he's... a kind guy.
However, their personalities don't matter as much as their interactions. That's the gem of the show. Willem and Ctholly.
I did enjoy it. Returning, to my first sentence I'm uncertain... The end. The end creates a dozen of questions and I didn't like the last 10 or so seconds of the show. It's absurd.
The show doesn't have a real "point", there's no real ending here. So, perhaps, a continuation might solve this.
If you're searching for a beautiful love story with great animation - here you go.

I've longed to read the manga since the moment I had finished watching the anime. I had the feeling something wasn't right about the way anime ended. Fortunately, I was right.
The story begins quite smoothly and slowly giving the time to get to know the characters, their way of thinking and living.
There are some things which are just given to a reader without any further explanations. You just have to assume them. I wouldn't say I liked it but that's not the most important part here so let it be.

part of it is dedicated to monologues of the main character which makes the story very engaging. There's not much action in it, but that's for the greater good.
It's smartly constructed. There are in general 3 large parts of the story which are deeply connected with each other. Lots of minor details which seemed to have no significance eventually turned out to be very important.
You'll think with Satoru. You'll analyze with Satoru. You'll find the culprit with him. You'll feel yourself in his shoes.
To be honest, art isn't something to admire here. It has its own style which I would call as "a bit edgy". It makes a good job of conveying emotions, actions and thoughts. So I wouldn't count it as bad either. Also, there are some frames which are just great.
It makes its job in a proper way.
I guess you would never forget Satoru, Kayo, and Satoru's mom at least. They became quite real for me. Besides them, lots of another cool characters out there. Characters are a core of the manga. Everything's based on them. A reader has the opportunity to see how they grow supporting each other. Such thing as a "friendship" is showed here in a right way. It's not that pretentious as it might be in some shounen manga, yet very gorgeous and simply a nice thing.
To add more, few characters have their own philosophy. I've found some interesting thoughts.
The antagonist deserves some praise. I didn't understand to the end his philosophy but it was the interesting one without a doubt.
I like stories like this one. Very much do. It's not perfect. To some degree, it may be even absurd. But, what's more important, it gives a reader something to think about. Something to live with.
It's sincerely kind.
I would recommend it to anyone. Especially to those, who are, alike me, unsatisfied with the way anime ended. You'll find a gap and a proper ending right here. And don't forget about additional 5 chapters, please note, they are very important!
