Both series have a tendency of having the main characters explore areas of gargantuan magnitude and unknownness both comprising of mystery and dangerous creatures there are characters with similar abilities to be able to fire lasers that blow through everything as well

Both Manga have similar seems of Pacifism in brutal worlds although they have different character start points I really believe that their the seems overlap a lot especially towards the end of maximum and the middle of Vinland Saga

Both Protagonists get Isekaid into another world by a total asshole of a goddess and the comedy in both is just fucking knee-slapping never have I laughed as hard as when I binged 48 chapters of this manga in one sitting the premise is dumb and hilarious in a unironic manner and ironic one totally check it out of konosuba is your jam

Well thought out mysteries with tons of dark and gruesome moments but still managing to be wholesome and hopeful and full of human expressions that are beautiful.

Both anime have crazy art styles that blend rock and punk aesthetics although Dorohedoro is more cyberpunk while Soul Eater has a gothic horror and Halloween cartoon style to it both shows genuinely have crazy worlds of supernatural magic, madness, and demented horror that lurks under the skin and uses comedy as a method to mask it all.

If you liked Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku add

...then you might like Shingeki no Kyojin add

Strong messages of war in both shows but I'd have to say SNK is a bit more shonen geared than Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku which is more realistically dark while maintaining fantasy aspect of the show whereas SNK seems to have more straight forward fights and action which leans heavy into shonen while the setting is still mature and dark because of the military nature of the show.

Both are surprisingly mature coming of age stories that hide the maturity of the show very well in the beginning and have very similar atmospheres with sunsets and loneliness although both split off after the first episode and take the similarities in different directions I still recommend both of them

If you liked Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann add

...then you might like Redline add

Redline and Gurren Lagann share very similar aesthetics, style, and the same crazy love for speed and momentum which is so prevalent and heart-pounding and it isn't just coincidence since both anime share several key animators (Katsuya Yamada, Sushio, and Hiroyuki Imaishi). But while I can say that they share a similar style and aimation I also have to say that they are also pretty different with their executions since Redline is more of a thrilling 24/7 ride than Gurren Lagann which is a pretty deep and impactful show.

Both psychological mysteries with identity based mysteries that kickstart the plot into action with high levels of intense gore and brutality with people being slashed, hacked, or torn off with sprays of blood yes these manga are not unfamiliar to these scenes.

Both manga showcase supernatural forces while also staying in a mostly realistic setting with well thought scenarios both mangas also have similar intelligent protagonists that are being hunted because of their supernatural abilities and both use their supernatural abilities in creative ways
