Yeah, in fact it was the best manga reader app on the Play Store before Manga Rock was ported over. It was removed from the store due to some guidelines infraction, I think it allowed access to hentai manga, which is classified as adult material and not permitted by Google. The only issue I had was with syncing across devices :D

It's not as good as Manga Rock but it's probably the closest you can get. It's not available on the Play Store, you need to download the APK from that site and install it manually.

Yeah, well unless you want to use your actual bank card, there really isn't much of anything else. Here in the UK you can even split your bank account into two different ones and move money between them. Let's say I keep £1000 on the saving one and move only £20 to my current account. I can then give out the details for the bank card with £20 only, so worst comes to shove, they can only steal £20 off me. The Play Store is safe though, if you want to try.

So no Visa prepaid and the such? Maybe ask your bank? It's really strange you don't have any of these cards. They are very much like a bank debit card with the difference that they are not linked to any A/C and you top them up like a phone prepaid sim.

Well I don't really know how to help you there. You may want to send an email to the developers. They are usually prompt in assisting you in case of issues.

That aside, don't you have prepaid cards where you live? It might be a better solution over Play Store cards. You can put the money you want on the card and then spend it on the store by creating a wallet account.

Well, it wouldn't make much of a difference because Manga Rock uses the in-app purchases system. Hence, unless you actively use my account and have it always synced on your tablet, it wouldn't let you keep the full version. That, and also we live in two different countries, so Google would deactivate my account for security reasons :D

By the way, you can get free download slots on Manga Rock in the latest version. You still have ads though. By I strongly suggest you to get a Play Store card, there's lots of app worth getting.

Yay! That's good news! Well, as you wanted to read manga on it, my first suggestion is getting "Manga Rock", which is the best one amongst all of them. That aside, if you need to move files in and out of your Nexus and save them on your PC (or viceversa), get an app called "AirDroid", it's free and you can use it to transfer files between devices on the same network (WiFi) without any cables. As a side note, the TAB PRO 8.4 might have better specs overall but it is bogged down by TouchWiz, Samsung's additional skin on top of Google Android. For example, in terms of performance, the Google Nexus 5 is faster and smoother the the Galaxy S4, and it costs half of Samsung's flagship phone.

Nexus devices are a bargain for the price they sell for and the specs they offer, and they run pure Android, which is slim, fast and smooth.

Hi, there, of course I remember you. I'll give you my honest opinion. The 7" Nexus I got is really generous in size and I never had to zoom. Think of it as a standard tankobon manga page. I can fit an entire page in portrait and read with no need to zoom at all.

As you are aware, a new Nexus is about to come out this summer. However, it's not 100% certain whether it's going to be the Nexus 8 or the Nexus 9. Some leaks suggest a shift from the 8" form factor to a 9" form factor. If you are willing to wait, then make your decision once the new one comes out. Where are you going to buy it, though? If you get it through the Google Play Store, I fear an eventual Nexus 8 might replace the Nexus 7, so you will end up having to look for it elsewhere. If it's going to be a Nexus 9, then the current Nexus 10 will go off the shelves.
