Another Isekai manga? Imagine that.
UMUM (what I'm calling this manga) is a another grim isekai in a market full of grim isekai. Despite the fact that I've seen the story a million and a half times, I still enjoy this manga. Here's why.
STORY: 6/10. Ah, 6/10 is not a good followup to that last statement, but my complaints are fairly minor. First, the MC's backstory is not given as much time as it probably deserves. Second- and yes, I know this manga isn't very far in yet- but the world isn't built nearly at all yet and it's been 19 chapters. To make up for
this fact- let's talk about this series's greatest aspect in my opinion!
CHARACTER: 8/10. I love the characters so far. The character building between the main two got me in the feels and (since the third character was just introduced), I cannot comment on that YET.
ART: 7/10. I have a pretty large problem with how most artists draw UI in manga and anime. The screen/page just looks like a clusterfuck because of all the text in both languages. A good example of this is Log Horizon's UI. Anyway, outside of that, everything is pretty normal.
ENJOYMENT: 8/10. So far, I've enjoyed the hell out of this manga. If it keeps going in the right direction, it could be an ACTUALLY GOOD ISEKAI!
OVERALL: 7/10. Keeping the overall low because of some of the cliches this manga falls into as well as the minor problems with the UI. Other than that, this is a nice manga.
