Oh yeah, definitely. It's actually rather fun to just say 'screw the rules' and see what you can do with only CSS at your disposal. Plus I find it is helpful to be forced to think outside the box from time to time. Then when you go back to working on real projects you've got a new perspective on how to tackle certain things even if the actual code is different. It's a fun way to learn :)

Well MAL will definitely give you some interesting CSS experience haha. List style CSS tends to be really hackish since doing many things properly would require access to the HTML or JavaScript. Seeing what you can accomplish with limited tools is great for creativity and getting a handle on all the available CSS functions, but if you're just learning web design I wouldn't take everything you see as kosher :P

But yeah, I don't ever mind answering a few questions. I'm self-taught in a number of fields, which I mostly owe to the internet answering all the questions I had getting started, so I do try to do my part in helping others along as well :)

Well hey, you seem to do pretty well with CSS yourself :)

I don't have a ton of spare time to teach (if I did much teaching everyone that asked I'd be a full-time teacher haha) but hey, if you have any particular questions send me a PM and I can at least try to point you in the right direction!

Yeah you have a cool list. It'd be awesome to have you join- don't think you can't win, there's lots of categories that your list may be more suited for then others.

Cool, we'd love to have you. No we never had any banners for winners the contest has always been for fun and bragging rights, I guess. BUT I can make a banner or have one made for it if you are interested for that reason, sure.
