Citrus (Anime) add (All reviews)
As a manga reader, there’s many things that must be addressed. For one, since it was 12 episodes long, I knew it would end in the shittiest arc possible. I hated it in the manga, I hate it here as well. Second, the adaptation was close to perfect, unfortunately the presentation of certain scenes were overly expressed more than it needed to be. With the 90% Rape and the 10% Consent, I felt a need, a need to think about this again.

Let me get this straight, as of right now, I enjoy the manga. The latest chapters started spicing things up. However, since the anime read more

Ahh yes. The underrated and the darkhorse series that no one talks about. There’s gotta be that one anime that flies over everyone’s radar. Hakumei To Mikochi everyone. ones talking about this show...why???

It’s weird really how this is one of my favourite anime of the season. I mean it’s about the life of tiny people and how they go through events everyday. It’s a good way to end a Friday if you ask me.

The main story centers around our two main characters Hakumei and Mikochi. The two of them has some of the best character chemistry and interaction I have ever seen. It’s clear how read more

Violet Evergarden, the anime that has been hyped for a year, has finally arrived with controversy and concern. Is it the masterpiece that’s deemed from most? Certainly not. That does not mean VE could not deliver. I’m not gonna try to defend the anime just cuz it’s KyoAni and it’s highly placed by many, but I will give credit where credit is due. So let’s get started.

There’s no doubt in my mind that VE is visually appealing and accompanied by a great OST. However, do the characters and plot live up to it? So far, it’s too early to say despite 4 episodes still out. read more

With Winter 2018 comes a plethora of Slice of Life series. One of them being a war. A war between 2 middle schoolers. Enjoying their youth to the fullest comes the ecstatic interactions between our two main characters, Nishikata and Takagi. In short, the females always win.

That’s basically the whole premise, a girl teasing a boy to no end and his failed attempts at retaliation only fans the flame even more. However, there’s always variety in the way she does her schemes. It’s fun to watch each time and highly enjoyable. As a manga reader, I am glad they were able to present all the read more

Sit back, relax, and gaze upon the glory that is Yuru Camp.

Tbh I never expected to enjoy a series this much. With all the anime going on on a Thursday, this is definitely a great way to end it. The first episode already captivated me with its amazing soundtrack, character design, and background art.

Our main character Rin, is someone who enjoys camping alone, we see that in episode 1. She's someone who would rather enjoy camping at her own leisure. However, because there are more amazing characters, she soon starts to meet them as well as open up to them more and becomes more social. read more

It’s unfortunate that many people overlook and under rate CGI based series, me included. But after reading the synopsis and watching 4 episodes, I’m glad I made the decision to watch Land of the Lustrous. I guess you can say this is the…Hidden gem of the season \(\~_~)

Out of all the anime that aired this Fall, Houseki no Kuni caught my attention the most. With its oddly intriguing story along with the setting and characters. The characters of this series are gems. You know, Diamond, Jade, Alexandrite, and the other ones. Each gem has a certain hardness, how easy they can break. One of the read more

Blend S (Anime) add (All reviews)
Smile. Sweet. Sister. Sadistic. Surprise. Service. We are Stile!

Blend S is already one of my favourite SOL anime of all time due to its amazing characters, beautiful art and awesome soundtrack.

The story first revolves around Maika and how she can't get a job due to her unnatural scary look. She comes across this cafe, but not just any cafe, this is a cafe out of the ordinary. Luckily for Maika, her unnatural scary look might come in handy. This cafe takes certain archetypes of characters and apply them to our main characters.

Maika is supposed to act like the Sadist in the Cafe, in read more

BnHA Season 2 Review

I’ll try not to put as many spoilers as possible.

My Hero Academia has continued to impress me with its portrayal of characters, and being able to present an amazing continuation from season 1. This anime, being the usual shounen, does almost everything correctly to keep the viewer on the edge of their seats. Generating as much hype as possible.

To all fellow manga readers like myself. I can probably guess the amount of hype you may have had when the adaptation was first announced, more so season 2. The thought of having the most iconic manga chapters being animated made us have something read more

Open up an endless world of possible settings. A Giant hole in the middle of civilization, in which lies a gigantic hole dangerous to mankind. What could it be? How does it work? What lies within it?

Made in Abyss is one of my personal favourites of Summer 2016 due to its amazing setting, atmosphere, and world building with amazing execution along with an amazing narrative. It shows us the dangerous and more grim side of things while making it completely thought provoking.

We start off this adventure with Riko, a girl with curiosity and the need to adventure the depths of the Abyss thoroughly. With read more

Classroom of the Elite Review

Classroom of the Elite indeed took me by surprise with a first episode that grasped my attention. It takes place in a prestigious school where the good and the great are separated. Or in this case, the good and the bad. However, just as I feared, it started to fall off quite a bit. I’ll keep this short and simple.

COTE started off quite strongly, with an intense atmosphere in the first couple of episodes. It supposedly grasped the attention of the viewers and it sure has grabbed mine. We see early the ambitions or goals of some of the read more
