This is Intam.
Back then I was in 3rd grade, I was surfing through tv channels and accidently feasted my eyes upon "Goku vs Frieza" fight in nickelodean, AND OFCOURSE!! I had no idea what's that about so, I surfed past it. Basically that was my first anime exposure although I didn't know it was anime. my next accidental exposure was "Hagemaru" and "Ultimate Muscle" and from here on out I begun to notice some similarities like characters using chopsticks and stuff in these and these are actually a lot different from the cartoons I'm used to. One day they stopped airing these in my local channel and it was lost in the reminiscence. Now I've successfully graduated from my 3rd grade(I know, I know, I'm being too humble.... anyways), and once again had an encounter with DBZ, it was the legendary SSJ3 scene and my third eye opened and my dumb ass begun to understand the value of the show. So, naturally I started watching it every night and after two months or something they stopped telecasting it. I was super upset. Later after years I came to know that they didn't actually stop telecasting instead they delayed the usual telecast time by an hour, I had an instance urge to go back to the past and ask my younger dumbself to wear a clown mask. Back to the present, just like that my "it is cartoon but something different" watching streak came to an end.
-Time skip-
Now I'm in 5th grade. One fine day I happened to lay my eyes on a promo of "Digimon savers" and I immediately noticed it's one of those "different" cartoon and vowed to myself that I'll watch it everyday, "Did I watch it everyday?" NO....The information that it's weekly hit me like a truck. And I begun waiting for a whole ass week for two episodes on Friday nights. That was my very first traditional anime watching experience. When it ended I was in existential crisis. Anyways, after 5years post this events I came to know about the word "anime", yep, finally. So my first official anime is yes, you might've guessed it, DBZ. My second one is "To love Ru" yeah, I get it....Such drastic difference in the genre, I mean I was more interested in hent.....ahem ahem. I was more interested in romantic PLOT than action back then, thus the holy choice. That's how my anime journey started and is still going strong. Thanks for reading.
