I really enjoyed the whimsical stop-motion animation of Madame Tutli-Putli. Also, her eyes were so expressive! Especially when they showed her cry. The CBC always chooses the best animations!! ^_^

I am currently enjoying The Alchemist's Letter:

It seems like a higher production value than I normally go for, but I thought it was nice.

Also, I am well. Thanks for asking - And you? Good luck with your studying!!

Really?! That's wonderful!

I am watching The Prophet at the moment and was just about to change it again. If you have not seen it yet, I highly recommend it because it is VERY beautiful!

Hi! The forum avatar is from Saraiya Goyou - he's Taichi, one of the main characters.
I'm glad you like the club :)

I'll be waiting."...

Co do dat na MALgraph, już zapisałem żeby to zmienić na finish-date. Dzięki za zgłoszenie.

Even if you're not from the States or don't celebrate it, I'm still thankful that I know you just a little bit from this far off ether.

I like your idea of 'slice of school life' anime drawn in diffrent styles. This is sad - Japan is producing tons of anime in kawaii style, but so little of nice, maybe a bit strange drawn ones. I understand - quantity buyers want it, but...
So, I've been thinking more seriously about that series I mentioned to you and I decided to watch the three anime that actually are about art students. None of the three have used this idea so far (only ep. 3 on each series), but it seems too redundant to use this theme yet again unless I could produce a FAR better story than what these offer.

So, my question for you is as both a viewer and an artist, what would you have liked to see in an anime about art students that you feel is lacking in either these anime, if you've seen them, or in the high school genre of anime in general? I like unique story lines best and most of these kinds of anime don't offer that, but wanting it and actually producing it are two very different things...

Oh thank you! I will! I watched a really interesting one on youtube called "Waiting Time" that I really enjoyed. Here is the linkL

Also, I've collected many of my favourite short animations on YT here:

Feel free to browse through them some time! ^_^

Glassy Ocean is one of my favourite things I've watched this year. It has wonderful music and I love the animation (although I have heard most people don't care for the style). The theme and core concepts of the piece are wonderful as well. It's a very peaceful and friendly or community based ideology, which I enjoy.

Like Universe, Kigeki also has beautiful character designs and a rather dark theme. It's very interesting though.

Cremona I found on the side bar of youtube after watching Universe. Here is the link:
