Aside from the gorgeous animation and amazing voice acting , Ost and everything synonymous with the Monogatari Series. I loved Araragi in this arc because of the whole journey of not knowing if it's love or if it's just admiration for Who Hanekawa is. He sees her as a role model due to her Perfect and or Virtuous responses to everything especially in the Kizumonogatari Movies. She stopped him from killing himself and forced herself to be his friend when he needed a friend most , She changed his perspective and values on a lot of things while she herself was also suffering from other

things that she built up inside. So Hanekawa being his first friend he started to like her more and more even though he denied it at first then due to this confusion and stress he asked his sisters about it and reached a conclusion which mistaked it for Love. Now when I say mistake it's not because he didn't love her HE DID but only the character she portrayed which is only a part of her and so when he found out that this virtuous portrayal was not truly her and saw her cat form ( It's not just the odditiy which made her this way This is her true self which she goes into extra lengths to hide from other people) He realized that He hated her true self and so when he said he did he actually meant it but there is no denying she saved and helped him so he was willing to give his life for her even if it was meaningless , That's when the vampire who he saved comes in to save him and then Hanekawa goes back into her normal life after forgetting everything that happened and so Araragi . He accepted that this was only admiration while hoping that one day he will be able to love someone for who they truly are .
