Memories (no spoilers)
____________________
Magnetic Rose,
Out of all of the three, this is by far my favorite through its chilling atmosphere, stunning visuals, and interesting characters. This short is so much crammed into such a short amount of time and yet it doesn't feel rushed, while I wish that the 2 hour film was just 2 hours of magnetic rose I still really enjoyed what was there. The visuals are stunning, the situation that they are in is bone-chilling, the way that their minds are played with is tantalizing.
Overall this one is a 9.5 out of ten, I WISH that it was much longer

...
Stinkbomb,
Much like the name implies, this one stinks. While it is supposed to be a comedy, it just isn't funny at all and did not enjoy it at all. The subject of the short is such a clueless moron that he really is the villain of the short, and while I think that the short aims to criticize the way that we solve things with weapons, they completely ruin that with the ending. When I rewatch this, I may skip this one.
If not for the magnificent animation that this short has it would be a 3, but it sits at a 5 for me
______________________
Cannon Fodder,
While I wasn't sure about this one at first, I ended up really liking it in the end. While it is the simplest of the shorts and doesn't have much to say I really enjoyed it as a small peak into a unique and magnificently animated world. The animation is the best part of this and it is a much different style than the first two, being much more artistic. It looks much more like a painting and you can see things like brush strokes and hard lines. The short follows a day of one family that is fighting an enemy that they've never seen despite the fact that the war is their entire lives. The short is a fun breather and was a relaxing way to end the film and made up for the drop in quality of the second short.
Cannon Fodder is a solid 8
_____________________
Memories is a solid watch and it is definitely worth your time, while you might want to turn it off after the first short, Stinkbomb is palatable and Cannon Fodder is worth the pain that comes with Stinkbomb,
In total I give memories a strong 8/10

Simply writing this cause there are not any others for this show,
This is... more of the same, but that's not a bad thing.
Episode 2 was one of the funniest things I have ever seen, an entire episode that builds up for one joke, and IMO that joke was a slam dunk.
While this season sagged a LOT in the middle, I liked how it all tied together and I felt that it had a very strong finish, and one that made a lot of sense.
If you like this show, or if you watched the other 2 seasons then you should watch this season as
...
well.

What the show if you want… but the soundtrack is a must
White Jesus AKA Kevin Perkin has done it yet again with the soundtrack for rising of the shield hero two. I do not know what skills allow him to do the mystical work that he does but he has used these skills to make another remarkable soundtrack. In every track, you can find a flawless background song that is beyond the hype. I believe that as long as this soundtrack is playing in my ears I could easily surpass any inhuman feat, whether I am tasked with finding who asked, or I am forced
...
to fight god himself, as long as Kevin Perkins's sweet tunes are playing in my background I know that I can do it.
Do yourself a favor and give it a listen, and I guess you can watch the show if you feel like it.

Nomad: Megalo Box 2 is one of the greatest sequels I have ever watched. When I finished the original Megalobox I was sure that it was just one of those great one-and-done shows that would never get a sequel because it never needed one. Nomad: Megalo Box 2 was the sequel I never asked for but god damn am I glad that it was the sequel I got. While Megalobox was the underdog story that people love in sports anime and shows, Nomad: Megalo Box 2 is the story of a disgraced champion who fights opponents inside of the ring while he fights his demons
...
and his addictions outside of the ring. The story is taken in a brand new direction and is super fresh, unlike many sports anime where the new season has the same stakes as the last season, Nomad: Megalo Box 2 and Megalobox are almost like two different shows and they spend the whole season filling the watcher in. If you loved the original you have got to check out Nomad: Megalo Box 2, even if you weren't super big on the first season give Nomad: Megalo Box 2 a chance because it is something else.

This Anime is bad but it is pretty funny and that alone saves this anime. The first 3/4 of this show are really good but when it gets to this tournament arc at the end it really loses me. Instead of focusing on the comedy they instead focus on side characters that are really boring and underdeveloped. The art varies greatly in quality from industry standard to Bezerk CGI to brief glimpses of high-quality work. Towards the end of the show, they drop all the aspects of the comedy and this really highlights the weak points of the show. The story is inconsistent and the
...
writers want Frog-2 to be a clone of dimple from mob psycho soooo bad but they do it so poorly.
If the show wasn't so damn funny I would say it's a 4/10 but the jokes are great and there are so many golden reactions by the characters that it saves the show. To compare this to One Punch Man is an insult.

Deadman Wonderland is a really interesting show because I would say it is the ultimate six out of ten. While this show has a pretty shitty story I can say that all other aspects of the show are pretty alright. The art style isn't bad and a lot of the gore is very detailed so if you're into that it's a plus, the main character isn't a piece of shit and I actually ended up liking him a lot more than I initially thought I would. The show can honestly be pretty funny sometimes as well, but I don't know if that's on purpose. The
...
side characters are usually pretty good but when it comes to the villains it's really 50/50. The ending song is an honest bop and I listened to it fully every episode.
In my honest opinion, you should give this show a shot, the story is a dumpster fire but sometimes it's fun to watch shit burn.
More specific gripes and opinions for others who have watched the show
*spoilers*
(story)
My biggest blight with the story is that the person who runs the fucking prison twilights as a fucking DEFENSE attorney, I guess that in the world of Deadman's wonderland there is no such thing as the BAR or a conflict of interest. How in the world does nobody see an issue with the man defending the condemned being the same man that benefits the most if they are found guilty.
My second biggest gripe is that this world has the audacity to claim that there are "human rights organizations". I refuse to believe for a second that Deadman's wonderland would be open for a month if there was a real human rights organization anywhere in the world. I would've been fine if they just ignored the idea completely and it was just implied that people were hungry for violence but instead, they try and act like people care about that shit.
Another complaint about the story is the fact that Deadman's Wonderland is a tourist trap???? Again, this would have been normal if the society at large was obsessed with violence but during the death race, they just think that everyone who is VIOLENTLY murdered is fine and it's just special effects. How stupid are these people? Are you telling me that people can watch someone's head burst like a bubble or be sliced in half and still not realize that people are dying let alone the smell of burning flesh from those poor souls who fell on top of the electric wires and were cooked? Those people who have smelled burning flesh can attest it is a horrible smell so I doubt many people would even want to be there.
Another big plot hole is the fact that half of the prison staff, including the LEADER of the prison staff, is in the dark about the truth of Deadman Wonderland and how they have people with superpowers in the basement. Why the hell are there so many random ass grunts that know about this "Big Secret" but for some damn reason the head of the prison staff is kept in the dark.
My last complaint about the story is about the military and its part in Deadman Wonderland. While it makes sense that the military wants to use this new technology I cannot see the reason why they would let this psycho run the whole operation instead of just putting some military puppet in the position.
I do have to say that when the main character is taken to the secret part of the prison the story tightens up and I really start to enjoy the story more.
(Characters)
Now when it comes to the villains I think there is really only one that actually has a real motivation to become this merciless killer is Nagi. After watching his pregnant wife die it only makes sense that he would lose his mind and go berzerk and the idea of him sealing away those memories to only have them come back was one of the high points of the story. Now... when it comes to the other characters who are villains it just seems so fucking lame. The punk monk Genkaku becomes this homicidal maniac because he was beaten and molested at his temple but really... are you fucking kidding me? You can go to the head monk or at least the police or... I don't know, maybe switch fucking temples. There is no way that he just sat around and didn't do anything until the breaking point where he murdered them. The little girl undertaker is stupid and is a blatant example of some edge lord with a pen's wet dream. I refuse to believe that some fucking mom would just torture her kid ruthlessly for the tiniest fuckin things and I doubt it would've gotten far unless CPS doesn't exist in any form in Japan.
Sometimes I felt that the writers were trying so hard to make these edgy-ass backgrounds for the characters that it was honestly just comedic at some points. When Minatsukis mom tried to save her flowers instead of her daughter I honestly started laughing especially when she got obliterated by that rock. When Ganta was crying out for his superhero while getting attacked by that rabid dog I was also laughing. I can't tell if this was designed to be a joke but for the sake of the writers, I hope it was.
The main character doesn't suck which is impressive especially when you consider the fact that the story sucks dick and balls and I honestly like the fact that he stands his ground and actually backs it up which is nice.
In the end, its a 6/10 and that is all I gotta say about that.

What a wild ride, I had always heard about Odd Taxi, and it was described as a show that many people passed on but was actually really good. Now that I have finally watched it, my expectations were blown away. The story has so many twists and turns and the last couple of episodes just kept getting crazier and crazier. I mean the main twist with Odokawa having a brain disorder that caused him to see animals was just crazy but at the same time it was clearly laid in front of the viewer. The fact that there was clearly something wrong with his brain,
...
the way that some people had pets, and how sometimes you would hear them mention human beings. I loved the little Daimon and big Daimon storyline especially because I have a little brother and because of that their storyline meant more to me than it might have normally. The lottery subplot was weaved into the main subplot very well, the idol group was actually given a story, and a fucking CRAZY story at that, especially with the ending where the murderer specifically gets into Odakawas taxi. I thought the crazed gunman subplot was super creepy and added some horror elements to the show that wouldn't have been there without it. All of these stories were supported with great background music that helped create a wonderful environment for the characters. While there are problems with this show like any other, my main one being the slow start I give Odd Taxi a ten because that's how much I enjoyed the show and that is what matters the most when it comes to a show, I think that the eventual payoff for the show makes it all worth it in the long run.
if you haven't already seen Odd Taxi, I do think that it is worth your time :)

Samurai Champloo is probably the best anime I have watched in a very long time. I had always wanted to watch it but it wasn't on Crunchyroll so I simply bid my time and waited for it to come to the platform. Now that I have finally watched it I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed it. When I watched Tower of God I assumed that I would never find a soundtrack for an anime that I enjoyed more but the soundtrack for Samurai Champloo has topped it. Based on the soundtrack alone I would give this show a 10, every scene is
...
accompanied by a background track that fits it so well. The intro and outro are both unique and incredible and the style of the art matches the music so well. The characters are super interesting, cool, funny, emotional, and dramatic. The animation flows so well and every fight is as interesting as the last and the finale of the show was so good.
This anime is a true gem and you ought to watch it for yourself while I cannot guarantee that it will be a ten for you like it was for me I firmly believe that you will enjoy it just like I have.

I dropped this show for some unknown reason and I am just so glad that I picked it back up.
Welcome to demon school Iruma is a show that is carried by its characters and it treats each and every character with serious TLC. Every single character that surrounds Iruma and his posse is super interesting from a secret idol to a tsundere teacher that school and family that surrounds Iruma are a blast. When I picked up this show again I binged it in about 3 days and I really couldn't pull myself away. It manages to be funny, romantic, exciting, and action-filled while still
...
feeling balanced. Iruma is a great lead and the writers are truly gifted when it comes to creating fun scenarios for Iruma to find himself in, especially with the evil cycle that he went through. The world that Iruma finds himself in is so bright and lively that you always forget that he is in hell and despite all of these great things about that show I still feel that people are sleeping on it.
I think that it is a really strong 9 and you should watch it

While a 9 might be a little high I chose to score it as such because I was genuinely surprised by my own enjoyment of it. I am so used to trashy romances where some protagonist has a harem of horned-up women so this was a severe change of pace for me and I enjoyed it very much. The protagonist is bubbly and very likable and the two male leads are also likable characters in their own ways. What really sold me was the way the two male leads actually come together and a realistic fashion, it's not your usual anime with a lazy "and
...
they lived happily ever after" ending but instead these two characters both grow to become better people in a realistic way. People have mentioned that this show should have mentioned how obsessed people really are with idols but I do think that it was addressed in a good way and I personally have no issues with this story. Even with the betrayal as some people are more forgiving than others and I believe that Hiyori is the type of person who would forgive someone like that. The show is a good watch and I stand by my high rating
