Totally man! Same here, always down to chat whenever I'm on! I'm afraid I don't have a lot of anime to recommend since I've mostly been a casual watcher and just getting more into it now. I guess right now I'm enjoying an anime called "Magical Destroyers" it's very very weird and all over the place though. But it's fun!

Besides that I love Dragon Ball Z, grew up with the Swedish dubs on VHS tapes, they were truly awful, but fun memories.
Tokyo Ghoul is a must see for me, great story and character building, just some real cool intense moments too!
Black Lagoon is guns blazing, bad ass scenes, crazy psychotic just awesomeness, I totally recommend Black Lagoon, and I'm sure you've seen death note,
Basically a must watch.

Also you reminded me to put shingeki no kyojin into my favorites, how the hell did I forget that. :D

Yeah, I would love to support MAL (regardless the benefit), but I still don't have the budget for it. Plus, there are more than a hundred of my favorite characters and animes. I don't think it will all fit in the list, even with the membership.
