alright swords of an honorable ruler, it's your turn to be reviewed. well damn, i have to say that in the story department, this movie had me hooked within minutes. it shows the back history between inuyasha, sesshomaru, their father(the mysterious but always talked about great dog demon inutaisho), and the human woman that brought inuyasha into the world izayoi. it gives an in action show and tells the complete story of the twin fang swords, tessaiga and tenseiga, and of the final only inutaisho himself could control sounga. this movie kept me on the edge of my seat and wide eyed with what was ... to come next. interesting and nail biting fights, drama, and a look into the role of the demon brothers together i'd never before seen. all and all, a great story line. the art, though not the same as the show itself, had a rather nice look in my opinion for the 2003 time animation and brought a sort of hd look to the classic inuyasha characters. the sound was great. original voice actors, fitting music typical of inuyasha, and sound effects that fit the time. i have always loved the inuyasha characters and this gives sometimes under minded "supporting" characters a new role even though it centers around inuyasha and sesshomaru. speaking of which, sesshomaru is a main character in this one and, as he is one of my favorite characters, i loved to see him brought into the spotlight with his brother. overall, i really enjoyed this movie, find it definitely worth re watching, and earns tens across the broad. as kagome would say, it's enough to impress this girl! ^.^

wow, i can't believe that no other reviews have been written about this movie. well, as an inuyasha fan i shall take it upon myself to write one :D

the first inuyasha movie, affections touching across time, quite the piece of work it is. the story line to it had the same sort of feeling that any of the other inuyasha movies had and the show as well. filled with fighting, jokes, romance, and the characters that only this series can provide. having their original voice actors and music that can be linked to that of the show, it wins in the department of having that ... "inuyasha" feel to it. it doesn't quite fit in the time sequence of the show, it sort of serves as a side story. i wouldn't recommend this if you haven't seen any of the show or at least read the manga because then it wouldn't make sense. though it is the first movie out of four, it relies on the viewer having some knowledge of the inuyasha world but for a fan, it's great to see. the characters are still just how they always were in the show, lovable and memorable in my point of view. the only thing i have to complain about in this movie is the art. the art for inuyasha in the anime was beautiful, it wasn't flashy or quite as modern but i fell in love with it. the art is different in this movie from the original though at times it looked like it tried to revert. it IS different but it doesn't get in the way too much though i would have liked to see the original beauty.

all and all as an inuyasha fan, i found it to be an enjoyable movie that i would most definitely watch over again :D

i just got done watching tales of symphonia and i must say, wow. i know, 4 episodes for a whole rpg game can't do it justice right? well honestly, i watched a lets play of the game up to the part where this anime stops before continuing so i was able to understand everything that was going on. for someone who played the game and watched this, yes there are parts that were left out and changed but in all truth, i really enjoyed it none the less. it was rather amazing to see what they did manage to do in the 4 episodes that ... were made to this point. i can honestly say that i loved this anime and even though it didn't follow the game 100%, it satisfied me. the true emotion in the anime brought tears to my eyes and inspired awe that i got while watching a lets play. i can't wait to play the game and continue with this because i can't honestly say, i loved it.

castle beyond the looking glass, hell yes. this is hands down my favorite inuyasha movie out of the four, having watched it multiple times. this movie unlike some movies based from anime, does have a more direct tie to the show itself which made it enjoyable and familiar being a HUGE inuyasha fan myself. the art was fantastic, it had the hd like look to my favorite characters and all original voice actors were in so i was super happy. all the character acted to their lovable personalities that i loved so much. hands down, i love this movie for everything though it had a ... fantastic ending and play up to the point where i would HIGHLY suggest any inuyasha fan to check this out!

hands down this is my favorite pokemon movie ever. i know that again like most pokemon movies, they don't have a direct tie to the show but that's just fine with me. i liked the whole idea of this movie and it gave me the familiar feel that i got when watching the old pokemon show. i liked the original voice of the characters and the new ones along with the music that goes along with it, i have some of it on my ipod to prove that ^^ i really enjoyed this movie for the use of the legendary birds and the role lugia ... was able to place into it. lugia will always be the guardian to the seas in my eyes

quite honestly, i know the pokemon movies have been getting some eh reviews but i personally think they are pretty good.i understand that they aren't directly related to the shows but that's okay in my book really, this one is no different. the story does remind me of princess mononoke but i rather liked the nature feel of the whole thing. i enjoyed the art, a new yet familiar design to how i remember pokemon to be. i liked all the voice acting and characters..well lets just say i got a surprise with one of them. i enjoyed the use of the original group and ... i would say this movie is pretty good for anyone who is a pokemon fan and has some free time.

howl's moving castle, how i love you. the first time i saw it, i was captivated by it and have watched it many time after. the story i found to be memorable and lovable just as the character themselves. i enjoyed the seemingly simple start but the tie of fantasy and growing into something much greater than it was. i enjoyed the character design and art, rather clean and looked really good to me. i liked all the voice acting and personality of the characters as the story progresses. i really enjoyed the cuteness and tie into fantasy and i would recommend this to anyone ... who has time.

when i heard that a yu-gi-oh movie was coming to theaters, i was happy to the point of demanding to see it. upon going to see it as a young child, i was amazed by it but now that i had re watched it as an older teen, i find there are flaws in it i was too excited to notice. since there is only one other review about this, i'll pitch in to help out. the story line, though not all together linked to the original show, was okay. i liked where they were trying to go and everything but it was sorta pulled ... out of the blue. the art i thought was really good, i loved the design on my old favorite childhood characters. they looked like themselves but in a more defined updated look. the sound was great since i loved the used of their original voices. the music too was alright, not quite to the standards of the show but i still enjoyed it. as i said before the characters were amazing since they were all the original ones and i had missed them greatly from the show. the main antagonist was an interesting idea but i thought he was sorta pulled out of the blue as i said before. it did tie into the original "ancient egyptian" theme so i wasn't too unhappy. honestly, i wasn't expecting it to be aas great as i thought the show was but for a sort of side story, it wasn't too bad. there are some flaws in it but for a yu-gi-oh fan like myself, i was able to enjoy it

it had been a while since i've seen this anime but i just wanted to throw my two cents in about it. this anime did have it's ups and down but quite honestly i found it to be rather enjoyable despite how simple some many thing it to be. what i will say is that for any questions you may have about the anime, read the manga. it describes things a bit more in detail and is obviously longer than the show. they did leave some things out in doing the conversation from manga to anime but it wasn't too much of a let down. ... the story i thought was deep though it was more subtle in the anime than in the manga. the characters all had their own appeal to me that i enjoyed and the art was rather nice in all truth. some many think it a simple gore fest and that it didn't capture the manga well enough but i don't think that. i watched the anime first before and i was able to understand it perfectly. i say if you don't mind blood and a not so perfect ending, this would be a good anime to watch

i can honestly say that this anime gets 10s across the broad from me. i enjoyed it a lot though when i first started to watch it..i didn't understand how everything worked. i mean..sorry if i spoil anything for anyone but at the end of the 4th episode, 3 of the main character were dead and in the 5th they were all back like nothing had happened then the story changed itself. at first, i just wondered what the hell was going on with this anime.

however, once i started to watch more of it, and different stories started to take place, i saw how ... they all fit together and i got that "ohhhh so that's what was going on" reaction. the part that kept me hooked was the fact that you never quite knew what was going to happen next or what they would show in the next arc.

course it wasn't just the story that i loved, i fell completely in love with the characters. they are all so cute together and i love the different blends of personalities that just fit together. rena with her cuteness. mion with her bold outgoing nature yet more secret soft side. shion with her secret demonic crazy side..rika and satoko and keiichi..i just loved them all. of course, i don't think too many people "like" the antagonists in the story but even though i didn't like them for what they did in the story, i think they played their part very well i like that part about them.

in short, i really enjoyed this anime i would tell anyone who likes to be kept on the edge of your seat to watch it. that is..if you don't mind a bit of blood.. ;D
