In life, all we need is a little laughter to brighten up our day, and it is always enjoyable to be able to relate to a situation in an anime too!

Anime
K-On! is one of the first anime I watched and Hibike! Euphonium has one of the most memorable storylines. Both of these shows have brought me to explore Toyosato Elementary and Uji personally!

Seiyuu
I would be of those losers who choose anime based on their Seiyuu! From the kawaii~ voice of Ogura Yui to the cool, composed voice of Hayami Saori, the carefree voice of Toyosaki Aki to the hilarious Nakamura Yuuichi, these are the voices that literally speak out to me! A strong cast can sometimes influence my decision on whether or not to watch the show! (And add to my never-ending PTW list)

Hobby - Trains are love, trains are life!
電車がまいります! I didn't pick up (basic) Japanese from anime, but from trains! As my hobby and passion, I can safely say I am a bigger Tetsudo fan than an anime fan. I loved the animations of the trains in Hibike! Euphonium and Kimi no Na wa, and recently, the animations of trains have been getting better and more similar to their real-life counterparts.

Oh and by the way, in terms of Japanese classifications, I fall under 4 (of 36) categories of train enthusiasts:
1. Tori-tetsu: enjoys taking pictures of trains
2. Onkyo-tetsu: focuses on sounds made by trains and recording them
3. Nori-tetsu: enjoys riding trains
6. Sharyou-tetsu: an expert on train cars, including design and engineering specs
