Club News
The club is officially "re-open" with the club wipe finished (was a long process).
Granted, there's not much changes happening for now, especially
with my free time schedule being limited. But me and the staff are
doing what we can to take this club into a new direction, w/e the hell that is.
So what direction of this club is heading towards? We have talked about the theme
of the club. It started off as a Touhou & Youkai theme. But for those that have
been around long enough, that changed to just a regular general club. Except
for last year that was dominated by Kantai Collection. Of course, I'm not opposed
to having a new theme for the club although the club name's will remain the same.
Regardless if we have a new theme or not, we'll still have plenty of "regular" things.
But this essentially takes the club back to its old roots, where it was planned to be
a small club, and not the club that had 2000+ members. Obviously, it's gonna grow
but I would prefer a slow growth compared to the fast paced we had back in 2013.

However, as some of you have seen in the past few years, a lot of the stuff done
in the club has been done by myself. Sometimes I get help from the staff. But at this
point, it's gonna be tough to repeat that due to RL. So, once again, the staff recruitment is open.

Feel free to apply for w/e positions you think will help the club out.
However, the only 2 positions you cannot apply for is Deliverer and Inviter.
Other than that, everything else is open. Card makers is always welcome c:
Do not apply if you plan to go inactive after a few months.
There's no point in joining if you plan on being too busy to do help in the future.
If you're busy but still can throw in cards for an edition or 2, then that's fine.
Otherwise, apply AFTER you know you have enough free time to help us out.
I'm better off with 1, 2 active staff than with 10 inactive staff in running the club.

We do have a Club Discord that can be found through here.
Of course, we won't be active on it all the time, especially myself.
But feel free to use it to talk to us or the other members. Granted, the later
could be done on other discord servers or other ways. But, the club discord's
there for those that are interested. Or if you forgot about it.

I do want to mention that while some of you may have suggestions that would
help this club, especially right now, keep in mind that we're not free 24/7.
For example, a new layout would be great but me and the active staff don't have the
free time to do so. And in my case, not skilled enough to do so. Same with events.
They're time-consuming so we can only do them if we have the time to do so.
Of course, having more staff members would make it easier to do but, not getting
any new staff doesn't stop us from getting things done; it's just a slower process.

I don't know whether this club wipe will actually help this club at all. However, I have
nothing to do. This club has been open and active for 5 years, longer than most club.
If I close down the club right now, it's still a successful 5 years. I know that I originally
wanted to close down the club earlier this year. But there's still lots of things for me to do.
I've got editions of characters and themes I want to do. And there's some of you that enjoys
what this club has to offer. Obviously, I'll have to call it quits one day but hopefully, I can get
as much help (and motivation & willpower) as I can to delay that for as long as I can.
Anyways, those of you that are still around, I hope at least a good amount of you still
to continue to enjoy what the club has, besides the free stuff. I know I still am.
Very Important News!
Ok I want you all to take a deep breathe~ 1, 2, 3 *inhale* 3, 2, 1 *exhale*
The club is going to change their name! Yes, it will be quite unfortunate BUT!
we hope you guys won't leave just cause we've changed our name D: We'll still
be having the same concept and providing you with many card editions from here
and there. Alongside our Loyalty Card system. There's not a real reason to change
the name but just wanted a mystical if this is even the right word for it.. feel~

Well believe it or not, it is because we always want members like YOU to
help our club whenever we needed. We've also added additional jobs to the

Anime Challenge: Highest Score
Another Breaking News?! ಠ▃ಠ
Indeed.. I decided to want to close the Anime Challenge.. for several reasons.. even
if they're not a good reason, I'm honestly really happy that some of you joined the club
just for watching anime on other people's list ^^ We'll take a break from the anime
challenge and will be planning for extra events to make up for the loss. Don't go away
just yet cause you'll be missing quite a few thrillers~ The youtube video has nothing related to the upcoming events...
again.. it's late and I'm supposed to be sleeping ;_;
Card Editions && Claims
Pokemon Collector Edition is still ongoing?! ఠ_ఠ
For the time being, yes. It will end when 53 pokemons have been out in the field.
There's just too many pokemons out there to do so I'll need a break from it </3
Those that have been collecting them, you will be receiving a certificate. It may
come in handy, who knows.

Making a thread seems kind of pointless so I'll want to liven up the club comments with
the following: (Let us know your thoughts. Share your ideas.)
• General Topics for members to discussed about
• Games: Fresh ideas that haven't been done in order clubs or what you think most people would enjoy playing.
• Events: Something like what we've had in the past like Bingo & Anime Challenge
• Cards & Claim themes are most welcomed

Blog Entries
Seriously guys.. Is Blog Entry the new trend around here? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Can't stress this enough that we understand you would like to separate comments &
blog entries for deliveries or if you disabled everything but I beg of you to at least clean
them. We don't have the right to tell you how to run your blogs BUT it's really
troublesome for people that deliver. It's best if you just save your cards and delete the
deliveries from existence or a new blog entry if you want to keep them.
Plagiarism
Putting this out there as I've mentioned in the club comments before, I do not want
to see people copying off each other's work UNLESS you got permission. (╬ಠ益ಠ)
It's unpleasant to see others copying and pasting or trying to replicate the same
content. As much as I want to ignore this, it just keeps happening and people
do notice the comparison. I'm saying this nicely but please just stop it already.

It is important to know that the changes do NOT apply for the members who already have the Master Loyalty Card.
The reason why we decided to do these modifications is simply because the number of editions we used to have was a lot lower so getting to the Master Card was more of a challenge.
Nowadays, we have a minimum of 15 editions per month so getting to the Master Card is quite fast and it was not what Mio intended when she first started with this.

Dear Members of Dear Clouds,
Recently we had way too many people not respecting the Post Limits and the Number of Cards allowed by the Card Makers.
We have been discussing about a way to fix this but none of the methods we tried worked.
The Card Makers tried to warn the people concerned nicely way to many times and they also tried putting notes on the posts but nothing changed.
Unfortunately, for this reason, we had to come up with a more drastic way to make people understand they have to respect what the Card Makers are asking.
Here are the new rules we came up with to fix this issue once and for all :
- If the Post Limit the Card Makers are putting are not respected, they will ignore your request AND you will have your first warning. At your third warning, your post will be simply deleted and you won't get any cards at all. It takes only a few seconds to read and it will avoid a lot of trouble for everyone.
- If you request more cards than what you are allowed to from a Card Maker (Of course there are always exceptions like the MC, the Bingo, the Anime Challenge, etc.) without any valid reason, THAT specific Card Maker have the right to ignore your request OR if that person is in a good mood they can always message you so you can correct your post.
Please simply pay attention when you request cards. It takes only a few seconds.
I know this message does not apply to everyone but we have decided to send it to all of our members so everyone knows the same information.
Post Limit:
I know it's not always fun not being able to request a card that you would really love but if a Card Maker put a Post Limit, it has to be respected. The reason why i am bringing this up is because recently we had many issues regarding this. People don't pay attention and request whatever they want. If there is a post limit, it's for a reason so please respect it! It takes 2 seconds to read. If you get a Loyalty Card, you will have many chances to get the cards you missed :)!
Master Loyalty Card:
I think we need to refresh the rules on this xD! There are only a few and it's to be fair with everyone.
The Master Loyalty Card has many advantages like:
~ You can request up to 3 days after an edition has been closed IF you did not already request Please.. Only once X___X! Also yes you can request even if it's closed BUT it doesn't mean you can have all the cards!!! You have to follow the rules from each Card Maker exactly like you always do and if there's a Post Limit you HAVE to respect it also.
~ You can request an extra card from each edition. ONE EXTRA CARD!!! Not 2 , 3 or all.... One! Yes it can be applied even if there's a post limit. So this means if you are the 32nd to request and the post limit was 30 you can have ONE card from that person with the master card IF YOU WISH! You can take that extra card from any other Card Makers also.
~ When you do request an extra card, please specify beside.
Example: "Card Maker name": 1, 2 + 3(MC)
It's easier for us to understand and we know you didn't decide to just request one more because you wanted to but because you can with your Master Loyalty Card.
~ If you use any of you privileges, you HAVE to show your Master Loyalty Card in your request or it wont be accepted. If you lost the link you can always ask us and we will gladly give it back to you.
This message will be send to every member of Dear Clouds and i know this doesn't apply for everyone. I'm just remembering everybody because we don't wanna be unfair to anyone.
