Oh I'm glad you got to that, by far 3-gatsu no Lion is one of the best anime of the last 5 years. Especially season 2 it deals with so many real and tragic issues no other anime are willing to touch.
Hmm ya Ill have to give it a try some time, maybe there will be some cool villages that werent in the new series. Though I have been really only reading manga recently, other than the currently airing stuff. Reading the one piece manga has been refreshing. How far did you get?
Not having watched the original Kino no Tabi I really enjoyed the remake. I liked how from time to time other characters were explored and most of the stories intrigued me. I will say its not really a series that stuck with me too much. A lot of the towns didnt really leave a large impact on me making it hard to remember all the aspects of the story.
Very cool I will have to watch YuruCamp when I get a chance, I do like when series explore the area and culture that they are based in. Ive been reading Golden Kamuy and on top of an intense adventure based series they have time to explore the culture of the Ainu and what types of food came from Hokkaido long ago. Its been a bit since ive watched a cute series so maybe I need one. Might skip out on anything DanMachi related until a second season is soon. I haven't heard anything about that series since it came out, makes me kind of disappointed.
Wow that one was completely off my radar, looks very cute haha. Is it just about camping and cute girls or what? By the way how was Danmachi Sword Oratoria, would I like it if i enjoyed the first one?
Interesting I do like to scroll through anime/ manga art sometimes so ill give it a go. I'm glad you are starting to enjoy it, there are some cool plot points that grow throughout the show that I enjoy.
Oh really, Ive never heard of something like that happening. But when you scroll through pixiv you can see a lot of manga actually. Do you use that website at all? I think the anime is getting a lot of good recognition in the community so far so I hope it keeps up.
Oh ya I watched the first episode haha it was so funny, at the end the way he asked the girl out made me laugh hard. Ya Joseph really is one of the best jojo's, he's super comedical.
Oh ya Megalo Box has been super good so far, its got some samurai champloo feels. Yep Devilman Crybaby was also really good, its super out there and there is a bit of nudity but not really in the normal sexualized way. Its done by the duo that has done some really good "out there" anime, like Ping pong, Tatami galaxy, and kaiba to name a few.
Hmm wasnt a big fan of that tokyo ghoul episode, the character designs were a bit odd compared to the manga and the soundtrack didn't live up to the first season at all. GGO was kind of cool, more about the tactics and such in the first episode.
Im reading the manga for tokyo ghoul:re, Boku no hero and Golden Kamuy so more than anything Im excited to see the action scenes animated. Especially since Tokyo ghoul kind of has this reputation for hard to follow panels during its fights and such. I think I may have to rewatch Steins;Gate before starting this alternative version, Can't remember all the parts of the series wouldn't mind watching it again since it was so good. How do you feel about Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, did you enjoy the original concept of gun gale? Hmm I guess I understand your dissatisfaction with Magus Bride, I enjoyed the development of Chise and Elias's relationship but at times it was hard for me to feel engaged in the story.
I would say its the series most like Working!! that I have seen so far, super slice of life and comedy. Im looking forward to so much stuff, to name a few Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season, Steins;Gate 0, Tokyo Ghoul:re, The second course of Shokugeki no Souma season 3, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, Golden Kamuy, Megalo Box, and maybe a couple more. This is probably my most anticipated season in a long time, So much good stuff in one season :0
