Too much back log on Anime/Manga/Light Novels/Visual Novels/Games/etc.
Not the best at expressions on this, but this is more or so in line with how I roll regarding scores. Take some of it with a grain of salt if you will, especially the last 3.
10 - Near Perfect series, for me, a favorite, (NOTE: NOT perfect)...but in a sense did excellent in what it was aiming for with it's story + characters. OST did well in setting the mood for the series most if not all of the time when used. Execution of series was extremely enjoyable for myself, with maybe a disappointment in a scene or 2 when compared to most other scenes from the same show. Still good scenes, but looked rather poor compared to the usual handling.
9 - Excellent series, highly enjoyed the experience, the characters were good with the roles they were given, and developed in, the story was pleasing overall. A few flaws like, bumps in stories, or maybe a couple of plot points that were brought up but couldn't be resolved due to focus on the main story / characters instead.
8 - Great series, A good series to watch, most characters were watch throughout, with the exception of 2 or 3 characters (for casts that have...8-10+ characters). A pleasing story, cast, very good execution overall of what was being portrayed. A few flaws in character's maybe not being developed and staying stagnate, or the story brings up something to be maybe forgotten midway or near the end of the story.
7 - Good Series, a nice series, fairly enjoyable. Depending on the genre, the characters were enjoyable to the best of their "use"(?) and the story was fine for the most part. A number of flaws present that affected enjoyment of the characters or story.
6 - "Okay" (not sure which word would sandwich well in between "Average" and "Good" at the time of writing this. Started off good, dipped a bit but recovered a fair bit. Might have brought some hopes when watching it, but the potential growth of characters, or use of introduced elements couldn't be realized when they had their opprotunities.
5 - Average/Mediocre series. Has it's flaws, but isn't entirely bad, worth for some passing entertainment.
4 - Below Average ~ Had some entertainment worth as in either some memorable music, a couple of good episodes / scenes / characters, etc. Couldn't fully utilize the potential that existed.
3 - Poor Hardly garnered much entertainment. 1-3 good scenes, or either 1-2 characters are the only reason to have continued watching something like this. Had a fair chance of being able to do fairly decent, but was done in a poor sense.
2 - Bad Little enjoyability. Worth to laugh at the series on how horrible it went about in using it's settings/characters/etc. No idea on how to have finished such a series...
1 - Pitiful/Terrible/etc. A series that may have started out...okay but then spiraled down into oblivion on itself with the material that was used. Might have had a track or 2 from the OST worth listening to on a rare occurrence.
Not too detailed since I don't feel like going on an on about art, sakuga, direction, full usage of OST, etc. etc. etc.
Note: Not really too biased against genres; or at least trying utmost best not to be.
