Fhrus doesn't and will not drop any anime, even if Fhrus hates it and would like to stop, Fhrus won't. Why? Fhrus has no idea, but Fhrus is against the thought of dropping anime. So instead Fhrus puts the anime on hold instead, with hopes of watching it again in the future.

Fhrus hopes to finish 1,000 anime franchises before he dies, originally it was 1,500. But Fhrus realized that he would die before that happens. Fhrus also hopes to finish 500 manga franchises. And to help with that goal, Fhrus set up some anime milestones for all the anime Fhrus has finished watching or has caught up to the latest episode.
