I'm just a casual lover of anime. Romance and action are my favorite genres, even though they don't mix a lot of the times. I still enjoy watching a variety of anime, especially ones with well-written plots and characters that have depth and can be related to realistically. My standards for anime are not that high, although I'm put off by how much anime is the same generic show, specifically with the ecchi and harem genres. I don't hate them, but shows could be so much better without the ecchi and harem genres overshadowing what plot (actual story) there is, if there is any at all. However, if an anime can be interesting and fun to watch, even with a harem or ecchi genre thrown into the mix, I won't mind watching it. Fan service is nice, but I don't like too much of it. That's my general taste of what kind of anime I like to watch. :)
