This year I ask for one gift, and one gift only. Please leave us alone this year. If you absolutely must visit our house when Christmas arrives to fulfill your annual gift-giving quota, I beg of you, do NOT use the chimney, because it really creeped out my family , and honestly, I was scared, too. I actually expected you to make your way down the chimney this Halloween, as that would truly be far more fitting timing than Christmas for such a disturbing manner of entering a home. And if you use a window or break in by some other means in the middle of the night, I worry that it will turn me into a rather paranoid person, since I already fall asleep hoping no intruders enter the home while I'm voluntarily unconscious. Do not enter my house unannounced. Please stop committing these crimes, and have a merry Christmas.
